AnonD-23484, 26 Sep 2011to decrease brightnes go to setngs>display>britghnes ... moreIt means Auto-brightness control can be turned off from the settings & you can adjust the screen brightness manually. This will sort out the flickering problem.
All others here are saying there is no such option though gsmarena also mentioned in their review that brightness can be set at automatic or manual.

mahomaho, 26 Sep 2011may i ask... is this phone complete?
as it has everything?... moreThe word "complete" is relative, depends on what you're looking for on your new phone.
Some people want a front facing camera on their phone, the others need tv out, or think that dual-core cpu is mandatory..., display at least size 4 in.., supports NFC, usb on-the-go.., gorilla glass, super amoled plus-plus-plus, gyro sensor, xenon flash...
No, dude, this phone is not complete, no one has ever - or dare to build a phone that has everything in it. That could kill the company itself.

Just saw a video of the heating problem on SE messageboard, apparently when the mini heats up, the capacitive buttons (back, menu) go crazy like it's possessed by an evil spirit!
It seems like it's a widespread problem and I really wanted to buy this phone.
I hope SE will fix the problems for future shipments cuz the minis are nice phones.

I am also facing vibrating problem as the 'back' key operates itself. I think it is due to heating problem because when i locked the keypad or switch of the phone for sometime then after it works fine but again when it gets heated the problem starts. I have st15i(black).
