I too have this kind of problem..keyboard stats displaying and not able to accept the calls.Some times my back key also doent work.mine is White one.I dont know how this can be fixed..Do u have any solutions???

one thng I wana knw is tht whn I click any image itz size I btw 500 to 700 kb nly inspite of hvng 5 mp camera ! bt whn I clk a image frm nokia x2 whch also hs a 5 mp cam ! nvr gnerats n image less thn 1 mb! bt the video size I almst same fr sm lngth videos tht I recrd ! bt the image clkd by sony is clear n crisp thn x2 at is of smal size ! cn any1 tel whtz ths?

wel I always switch of , to alow bckground data traffic whn nt usng internet, ths savs btry ! thn I always kil unecesary tasks runng to fre ram! thtz y my btry wrkz fyn n my phne dnt slw ! I hv switch the vibratn of ! we dnt need it n anyways u cn switch on notifictn vibratn fr msgs n fb !! thn I hv adjstd my scrn brightnes low cuz I dnt need much ! by al ths my phn wrkz fr 9 hrz ! m hpy with my phne ! no prbz ! n itz my first sony ericson phne ! thnku sony ericsn !

hi i would like to buy this mobile,
but im little confused cause the battery life mentioned is Up to 4 h 30 min (2G) / Up to 4 h 30 min (3G).
coz im a heavy internet user so any1 who is using this mobile, pls let me know whats the max battery life ur getting when using internet contineously...

penoy, 25 Sep 2011is that so?, i think i will buy the mini pro, than this one... moreYes, but the initial batch of the mini pro had the static noise problem. I'm not sure if it is fixed, but I have been using the xperia mini for 3 weeks-the only problems I have encountered:
1)Sometimes, when I switch off packet data, and then switch it on, the phone does not detect the internet connection as active, atleast not until I restart the phone. I have not seen anyone else with this problem. Maybe just a bug from a faulty app (I don't just use the market). Nothing that can't be fixed by a reset.
2)The flickering screen: this is, at best, a curious observation-in bad lighting or in shadowy conditions (for eg, when you use the phone in chemistry class, under the bench.........;-D) the light sensor detects the darkness, and makes the phone dimmer. If now, the sensor glances a bright glimpse of light, even for a second, it instantly increases the backlight. So, this is a 'problem' with every mini, because the automatic backlight adjustment is by default permanently on, without any option to switch it off.
3) The Timescape launcher installed by SE is very pretty, the jiggly widgets are an excellent touch- I have used a friends Wildfire S, the Galaxy Ace, and I own an iPod Touch: so I have a good idea about what Android can look like, and what Apple offers. I have even used other launchers on my phone (GOlauncher, ADW, etc). The Sense UI appears business-like, Samsung appears to rip of Apple's style of icons, but they have a useful pulldown notification bar (the shortcuts there are nice), the ADW is very clean. Apple is apple-very clean and functional. But the Timescape UI is the MOST playful UI I have ever seen. The widgets jiggle like jelly when you move them, and attention to most details is awesome. But when moving through homescreens and app drawer pages, I inexplicably seem to click something, and that is very annoying. This is not there in any other launcher, but apart from this, no other complaint with the UI.
I have experienced no vibrating problem whatsoever, no abnormal heating, or malfunctioning buttons. This phone is nice, and unless you text a lot, the qwerty in this phone is more than fine-almost as good as the iOS keyboard. A perfect first Android.

To everyone having the problem with Xperia.Please dont keep your phone in bed,cloth while charging,Dont play games connecting charger,dont use net connecting charger,please safely remove device after USB teathering.I have been using Xperia mini for almost 20-30 days.No problems for me.mine is white too.
