[deleted post]I purchased a black one in Mumbai-India and it does not has any problems at all...The phone works excellent and without any lags at all. The flickering problem that you are facing must be because u cant turn off the ambient light sensor and it tries to adjust the brightness according to the surrounding lights. The phone is excellent!!

AnonD-13718, 19 Sep 2011@siddanth.......dude.....hav u experienced that screen vibr... moreWhat do you mean "taken to the extent that the flickering problem arises"? Please clarify-I cannot understand your question. As for the vibrating problem, no matter how much I stress my phone, I'm not getting it. The phone gets a bit hot while talking for long periods of time, or long downloads, but even then, I'm not facing an issue. The flickering problem is there: The ambient light sensor is to blame for that: whenever it comes under a shadow or in bad lighting, the brightness automatically changes, which gives it a flicker-like appearance. This can be fixed only by SE, if they give an automatic backlight adjustment on/off setting in a future update. But nothing serious about it.

Gorgeous phone. Love it. BUT ........
Plagued with the usual SE software glitches. Handset #1 couldnt unlock screen intermittently (press power button to wake up but screen still black, or screen lights up but a side swipe wont wake it up)- returned to CPW.
Phone #2 constantly dropping signal. I counted up to 5 drops within 30 minutes while sat in my favourite chair. Each time off for about a minute. Also had problems with keyboard appearing on screen and blocking any access to the main screen below it.
If you google the phone under Xperia Mini you wont find any trace of problems. Try ST15i which is its model number you'll see its plagued by software issues.
AVOID!
