Hey! can someone help me please? i updated my os to ics and now the front facing camera isn't functioning. And if i will unlock it by pressing the power button/home key the 'unlock' and 'silent mode' slide is missing. i had viewed the other xperia ics and the slides are available but different function only. pleas help me asap? btw, my Android version is 4.0.4 and i updated it using the pc companion. pls. help me. Thanks!

Guys if you want a very good battery back up then stop calender sync with Facebook.I have tried it and it really works. my back up is almost 30 hrs.also calender sync with Facebook consumes a lot of data(in MB).

I wonder if the ICS update updates the andreno 205 GPU. In last december the company making the GPU´s made an official update that can make andreno 205 tice as powerfull.

Voice Search icon will be added to the applications drawer, open it then press help to see the options (data access is required).

I have upgraded to ics 4.0.4 on my xmp.everything works fine except for the option of using front camera.but some how I managed to do it by installing "camera effects" from market.even the notification led is working fine.camera quality inncreased and picture size increased from .5mb to almost 1.5mb and thats awesome.have not tried video mode yet so wont be able to comment on that.my slide out keyboad also works fine.I chose to upgrade through pc companion.battery back up has increased 2 times.music quality is more soothing now.call pick up response time when I slide the button onscreen has tremendously decreased and thts too good.I love my xmp!!!

After the Ice cream sandwich (4.0.4) update the phone has become flawless. Everything increased, its speed, battery life and graphics are unbelievable.
I strongly recommend to update your operating system as soon as possible!!!!!

Hey Everyone,
This post for the people who thinks that the new upgrade for this phone is SUCKS.. I want to tell you that the internal memory increased by almost 100 MBs, The phone became faster with me after the upgrading and after disabling FaceBook Inside Xperia & ANT+ which is a great new feature, The settings menu became more organized and got more features and last but not least the Performance Assistant can help you make your phone faster by disabling some applications.. Update to ICS OS guys.. It is a real good Software.
