after buying this phone on gingerbread i updated this to ICS & its working really really nice,touchscreen is also very good but i have one prob about charge it's running on battery 5-5:30 hours,first time i charged fully like 3:30 hours so that's my dam prob otherwise it's a very very good phone

order it today on flipkart and i lost my confusion on what to choose galaxy ace or xperia mini pro,finally i have chosen xperia mini pro coz it lacks only the screen which is little bit smaller,and it has an big update ics.waiting for the delivery.

This is an awesome phone. It's very fast, and the screen is very clear. I'm surprised about how fast it is, but it has a con: The duration of the battery. Even with the brightness at 50% and using it now and then, it lasts 10 or 12 hours. I thought that with that little screen the battery would last more, but it does not.

I have upgraded to ics 4.0.4 on my xmp.everything works fine except for the option of using front camera.but some how I managed to do it by installing "camera effects" from market.even the notification led is working fine.camera quality inncreased and picture size increased from .5mb to almost 1.5mb and thats awesome.have not tried video mode yet so wont be able to comment on that.my slide out keyboad also works fine.I chose to upgrade through pc companion.battery back up has increased 2 times.music quality is more soothing now.call pick up response time when I slide the button onscreen has tremendously decreased and thts too good.I love my xmp!!!

Listen folks!! i'm working in a phone shop now for over 12 years, i have tried and sold every phone that's been made....and trust me, the sony ericsson xperia mini pro is one of the best phones i have ever used, so much so that i bought one for myself. super smooth and super fast and so user friendly. it's also pocket friendly... what i can't understand is why people are so eager to upgrade the software of this phone. Believe me, why change something when it's perfect????

ICS disappointed me a lot yaar...no smooth scrolling, hanging most of the time(ma phone never hanged bfor even for one time in 2.3), battery power consuming more..
