Will wait few months until ICS is almost majorly bug-free and lag time is reduced. Then will get updated ICS from sony centre, not myself though. until then its all good.

I have a question. I am still having GB on my Neo V (Unrooted). Is it possible for me to update it directly to ICS 4.0.4 through PC Companion? I mean, can I skip the ICS 4.0.3 update? Residing in Bangalore, India.

hello there, i hope that u can help me solve my problem regarding my internet connections on my experia neov, i am using it for 4 mos. now, i am a prepaid user of globe network here in the philippines and recently having difficulty in connecting tru d internet so decided to call a customer service, giving me all the instructions to be done, setting d apn and refreshing d fon..but nothing works, i just notice that every time i connect there's this "data traffic is disabled" popping out on the upper part of my fon, although my setting in data usage is enable, and i also notice that no letters or arrows appear on my signal bar, and i know that its there wen were using the internet, right? so my conclusion is data traffic is affecting my connection or whatever it is... please help me.. and i am also wondering y my battery appears to be easily drained, by only reading 2-4 hours of ebook..im really confused :( please help me with my dilemma... thnak u so much...

the phone is hanging a lot after updating to ICS
please give me some solution friends
i have about 40 applications installed
i cant even do an urgent call
when i am opening contacts and phone it hangs

I want to update my ics 4.0.3 to 4.0.4, but there's no still available update for my xperia neo v. If i use pc companion for update do u think there has already an update.

AnonD-46506, 01 Jun 2012You can 'root' your phone to delete all the bloatwares and ... morenope .. they can find out if u have flashed another tft file .. even if ur bootloader is locked ..or u havnt installed a custom rom

1. battery backup doubled
2. very smooth now
3. many new features are added like new notification bar, simple setting menu and face unlock etc
4. new gmail app
everything is working fine. at any moment if you don't like ICS, you can goto Sony service center and downgrade it to gingerbread as you have warranty.

So this Update was for Better management ... let us see what it does
Improvements
Ui (now more smooth )
Video recording is now better
Ram management is even better now
Less lag while playing back video's
Multitasking is little better now
Things still not fixed
At night video recording still takes 2-3seconds to record properly , the recording is still mono :|
Dont Keep activities option still not optimized.It still cause the home to relaunch everytime we go to home
Dailer stil takes 2-3sec to open , even though i dont have much phone contacts (so this is very bad :| )
No improvements in benchmark scores which means gaming experience is not that smooth

You know, even if you unlock the bootloader, Sony won't dismiss the warranty. I read it somewhere in Arc Development section on Xda-developers.com. Unless if you broke your phone while using a Custom ROM. That's all :)
To root and unroot, just search in xda-developers forum in Xperia Neo/v'S DEVELOPMENT section :D

guys i updated my phone to icecream sandwich(4.0.4)
First i updated to 4.0.3 through PC and then to 4.0.4 through Wifi!
BTW for me the loudspeaker performance is good!

recently i.e., 15 days before i bought this neov mobile....
Its simply amazing.. but the only disadvantage is simply it gets HEATING up at the camera part..(Not at the battery side) its really frustrating me.... :)

I use a 32 GB memory card in my phone, which works fine as it is Class 10. But whenever the phone switches off, due to battery running dry, the shortcuts on main screen disappear and the arrangements of apps in the menu screen changes and is arbitrary, with a few apps on each page... please suggest what to do.
