If you wish to upgrade your Neo V 2.3 to 4.0, kindly follow the instructions given below:
                1. First, you have to connect ur mobile to PC (with the help of Sony PC Suite).
                2. then click on phone software update tab to get the latest version of build number ending .462/452 (which is the firmware for android 4.0).
                3. then follow the guidelines of PC to complete the process.

NOTE: Please do not disconnect your mobile while upgrading, otherwise it may cause the phone damaged. And it's fully upon owner's risk.

                4. please wait until the process ends (it will take around 1.30 hrs to 2 hrs). After upgraded the phone will automatically restart ur device (sometimes it may ask you to restart it).

                5. Finally your device upgraded with android 4.0.... Ejoy!!!

Got my neo v today from flippant for 17400 with 8gb SD card.
The mobile is simply brilliant in terms of hardware n ui.
WiFi connectivity is the only issue I faced. But on disconnecting other devices from the network, it worked seamlessly. see if this helps.

                        Hi Guys,
I recently bought Sony Neo V, personally i feel that phone is little slow compare to Samsung products(I am new to Android phone so i'm not that much sure)

Anyone can clarify my doubts for the Internal memory:
It mentioned as 1GB storage(320 MB user available)- what about the remaining space?.

Which one is better to buy the external memory - 8/16 gb.

AnonD-21202, 02 May 2012ram will be 120 to 130mb on ics,,,,better not to update ics... moreYou kidding me? I get a constant 160MB on my ICS Neo V. After restart I get around 190MB.
Ram is effected by LiveWallpaper, Ram/CPU monitor apps and the inbuilt music player, facebook and maps. Try not to use them and you will have same ram as me.
Btw, ram management has gotten much better in ICS. In GB I hardly was able to keep ram above 140 after a few hours of use.
Note: More Amount of free ram NEVER corresponds to smoothness. ICS is definitely laggy when it comes to launchers. But that is not ICS's fault. Its the developer's fault. Cause not all apps has been optimised for ICS yet.
In short, ICS is a must have update when it comes to functionality, ease of use, etc. But its not yet meant for all people. Geeky people would love it, dorks would hate it. Don't update if you are sure what it means to use ICS.
