Hi all, I got ICS 4.0.3 on my XPERIA NEO V yesterday night ,its faster now internal memory increased to 420 mb from 320 mb.....its gr8......

My Neo V gets really hot sometimes in its upper area after browsing for several minutes or playing games. I didn't expect it to get so hot after such a short time... What smartphones are better regarding this issue?

max13, 24 Apr 2012alright,, did flash your handset or did you just went to a ... moreConnect your phone to your computer via usb and open sony pc companion and check for update. It should pop up and it'll notify you that a new software is available.
I updated the official ics via Sony pc companion.
Try it now bro. Make sure that your pc compannion. is up to date. Goodluck. =)

well i m luking for a phone in wich i cn use skype video calling along wd other features like navigation n gud camera in btw range of 15-20k any 1 cn suggest me...

freelancer, 24 Apr 2012I'm using: app2sd, astro file manager, mx player, IMDb, sky... morewell i dont advice u too keep AVG or any antivirus .. not really req ..if you downlaod everything frm google play ... but its ur decision
also depends on the amount of widgets u have kept on ur scren .. like try to avoid the music player
other tips are ... go too settings>apps>all
Disable apps like
Facebook , maps(if u dont use them too frequently .. u can enable thm back anytime)

RAM management is our problem here. Browsing with 5 pages consumes almost 100MB...it is intense..
Browsing is more fun, it is fast...!

guys i already saw my SI# in the sony mobile page does that mean that i can already update my gb to ics? because i'm from the philippines and i dont want to flash my phone is there anyone from the phil who already upgrade their neo v to ics?

I just installed ICS update in my Sony Neo v... and am loving it... Great UI and new option og Face Recognition is great.... Some people says its laggy and slow, but I did't feel its too slow... ya its very little bit slow then GB but its fine... I like this UI and new features...... Thanks Sony

It took me some time in updating my phone to ics. All i can say is it is worth waitng for,
It is a ne experience, i find it faster when it comes to browsing. I do not have apps that are unnescessary, so everything works fine. Don't install apps that are unuseful, it will only slow down the system.
Over all, it is gud. 8/10 i guess

Ics works fine with my neo v.. Its a little bit slower compare to 2.3.4. But it is not. A big issue cinsidering ics is more intense than ginger bread. Thanks sony.
