thanks for the detailed facts about neo v..
im planning to buy this set... have some queries... will be great if u cud clear them...
one of my main usage will be watching movies dvdrip and hd rip movies. so does this set play full featured movies smoothly and also do we have option to play subtitles ?
Secondly, i hav 2 mbps broadband plan thru wifi... so can i do video chat via skype thru my wifi ??
thirdly, howz the build quality of this phone ?
and finally, does it play high end 3d games like fifa, etc. smoothly as we'll hav to install them in micro sd card ?
i hope u'll definately answer my doubts...

Hi,
Question 1: Neo GPS.
Is it only can use google map for satellite GPS navigation??
I can't find any map to launch in the set, is it need download Google map then can start using it satellite GPS?
Question 2: Saved SMS
If i want save some meaningful SMS, how and where should i save to? Old Sony phone have a option call "Saved Message", but in NEO i can't find this, all sms only listed in SMS List and SMS Draft list.
Anyone can give advices?
Question 3: Note
Old Sony phone can write a "Note" and save under "Note" list, if in NEO, how to do this?

amay, 26 Mar 2012u r using 2g or 3gThe only solution to this is to switch to 3g or search for other network operator that its signal strength is great at your place... As you know data charge is high at 3G network so it is recommended for me to search for some other network operator if you are using more than one mobile... Sorry i have no other solution..... It's upto you...

amay, 26 Mar 2012u r using 2g or 3gI am using 2G network...tatadocomo...data transmission speed is vary from place to place and depend on availability of the network... If edge that is E is shown than there s no problem in video calling but if G is there than speed is less and video calling is not possible... If you don't believe I will upload the video...

You need 3G to make Video calls on Gtalk, etc.,. On 2G n/w the Video calls will not work properly where it consumes a lot data also depends on the Data speed.

My dear, soon-to-be Android users.Please get this in mind before you start using Androi OS phones that battery life should never be a priority when u go for Android touch screen phones. It is an open challenge to any one who can prove that or dare say that he/she has an android touch screen phone that is economical to use when it come to power. Battery usage dependes on Usage, Screen, Processor, Settings,, in this order. No one will be good enough to suggest the optimum mix of all this as it solely depends on the users usage profile. Hence, i would suggest if you are concerned about battery life or environment,please do not choose Android phones. I speak confidently as i have used Galaxy S2 that i gave upo because of power usage and HTC explorer that was too good on battery bu smaller screen. NEO V fits the bill perfectly with the right mix of hardware and software. And please guys wanting to use video calling or video chat. They will not work smoothly without a 3G connection. So stop being stingy and get a 3G plan and stop cribbing about the NEO. Next, processor is the best in class, no lag at all. The only suggestion i give to user who face a lag is " please restart or re-boot ur phone once in the morning to keep experiencing superb speeds the whole day. This is simply the principal we all follow whn there is a lag in Internet Explorer and we clean the cookies and temp files or do a restart of the PC itself in some cases. As a advanced user the only problem i saw was in the battery cover/back panel that does not fit properly or it cud be a fault with only mine handset. Any more questions. please?
