Or use the same cash to buy a Quad core device.

NEO V User, 26 Mar 2012My dear, soon-to-be Android users.Please get this in mind b... moreHey buddy, just wanted to clarify a couple of things to make sure I am not the only one who faces this. First up, built quality - The phone looks just fine but the loose back panel and the silver'ish side panels irritates me to the core and squeak like hell the moment I grab the phone. I do use a silicone cover from Momax which helps a little. The built quality is a bummer and SE should have paid more attention to it. Another example of it is the HDMI port which was to be Gold plated but they did this with the charging port, DUH!! Coming to inside of the hood - the phone responds just fine, however it does lag, a lot sometimes, with basic operation like opening the settings tab or similar functions(I restart my phone daily). I guess its the basic nature or Android and its memory management(debatable) which even makes the SGS2 lag sometimes but Neo V surely lags which is also irritating sometimes. Overall, its a nice phone to have but I am just not satisfied with its performance specially after coming from Nexus S which I sold off due to some issues. My plan is to wait for ICS and if I am not satisfied with its performance, I'm gonna make a shift to iOS(I'd hate to do that) or WP7, though it has numerous limitations. At-least they'll not lag as hell as Android. Or maybe being an Android fan, I'll buy a Galaxy Note or Galaxy Nexus when it comes out. I'd be glad if people can respond to this post and share their experience with Android and Neo V. But claims like "it never lags" are hard to digest. The question is, is it just me?? lol

Hi guys i was using my Experia Neo V for about a month now and it just works fine with my 2GB SD card without any LAG.well need to update the SD card with 16 GB to store more of my favourites. If i talk about about this phone then this is th best phone in the range of 16K as you will get this phone with upgraded Ice cream sandwich OS which is very smooth and UI is also different and interesting. Camera Quality is good not excellent but i must say the camera video recording is far better than the other competitors, as it captures video in HD quality even in night it captures great and a realistic videos which i like the most and my friends also got surprised looking at the g8 video quality. Earlier i was using Galaxy S2 which itself is a g8 phone but the battery life is pathetic i use to charge it 2 times a day, due to which i decided to buy another android with good battery life for which Neo V does'nt dissapoint me at all its battery run atleast for 1 day with all the calls, gaming,dwnlodng,which is quite decent for me. You can do all the thing an android phone can do with this beauty, i never got compliments on my S2 but for this Neo V every1 likes the look and the color (mine is white)as it looks expensive,also the shape of the phone is just perfect not very big or small very handy and fits easily in pocket.Screen is also gud for gaming and to watch ur favourite videos, and with 60% brightness you can easily look into your context in full bright sunlight. so its a great deal go for it guys.
If you compare Neo V is 12000 rupees lesser than Galaxy S2 and provides almost similar features so why to waste such a big amount only for big and bright display whereas you can buy something else for ur self or for ur gf, after all its just a phone. Trust me with Neo V you will feel like you are using a phone with a price like 20-25k. Only problem i faced is when you play game for a long time the upper part become hot which is normal i guess. Rest i am still loving it...its a all rounder,,,

AnonD-48066, 26 Mar 2012hey me goona buy sony neo v.....please tel all over perform... moreim using it for the past one month. you can have it. its very gud.. you can njoy HD movies... its fast.., superb look... all android phones give poor battery backup... it also falls under that category.. but comparatively better than many.. there is no point in buying it if it is only for making calls and msgs... its smart so use it to its extreme..

Having a keyboard is lot more easier for me to do the typing but i want to try bigger screen for gaming and specially surfing the net. So Can someone help me which one? I also want to consider the performance of the camera and battery life for the 3 different phones. Thank You!

i have a neo v its awesome. really good battery. cool camera with 3d shooting . BEAUTIFULLY CRISP DISPLAY(bravia engine). and a timescpae UI that doesnt lag and is beautifull.
recommend it to all .

im planni... more1. The videos you are talking of won't work right out of the box. But if you install MX video player from market, which is free, then every video upto 720p will play without any lag. But still 1 out of 10 files may show some lag due to poor encoding. But its worth noting that MKV files are the most complex. 720p mkv rarely play smoothly. Just yesterday I was watching a 720p MKV movie that ran very smoothly. No lag whatsoever. So you can't say. It all comes down to the quality of video compression.
2. Yes. Subtitles work absolutely perfectly. Use MX video player. Even has controls to adjust the subtitle timing. Default player is bogus.
3. Definitely possible. But you gonna need a router to transmit the broadband net. They usually cost 2.5k. Never confuse yourself between a Wi-Fi router and a receiver. Receivers cost around 700Rs.
Maybe your modem already has a wifi transmitter. Or contact the broadband provider to rent you one with a transmitter.Will save the money.
4. Build quality is great for me. But it won't resist scratch if dropped from 2meter plus height. But I can guarantee you that the comfort in holding the phone is really good. The shape is absolutely perfect for the human hands.
5. All games are playable. If Modern Combat 3 can be played smoothly then its proof enough how good the gpu in this phone is. YouTube to know more.
Yes. Any game above 50Mb are installed onto the SD card.

If you want to make it secure choose wpa2 psk and give a password else choose open.... After all you can tick the portable WiFi hot spot.... Try it...
