if this effect is there, show it to Sony service center and try getting it resolved.

I don't worry about Sony warranty here because service center guys don't care from where you bought the item as long as the item is bought in India. Hell......my guys here don't even ask for the bill. They use their common sense to know that since the phone is released only a few months ago, the warranty is obviously valid.

Once done, the setup guide will ask you to complete the necessary steps. Complete these and you're good to go. And for the one who asked 2200 bucks to make the Android Market work, make him taste some fist of yours!

When I started the phone for the first time I went through a few startup procedure guided by the phone itself where they asked me to login to my gmail account, which I did. After that I was using the market flawlessly.

Along with dealer warranty I hope you g... moreThe person who says that you can visit the service center for repairs, even with a dealer's warranty, has no common sense or has lost it all. Those are handsets which are bought internationally and sold in India without warranty. It clearly states "dealers warranty" and not "Manufacturers warranty". Trust me, these guys at ebay.in wont do anything when it comes to repair and the biggest question is...who will bare the cost of sending the device back to the seller?? Obviously, us! My 4 days old Neo had a had dead pixel and I could only get a replacement from SE due to the "Manufacturers warranty". Get on thing in your head, if you buy a device with dealers warranty, no claim for warranty will be entertained by SE India.

Evn I had d same problem in the beginning to create a Google a/c. After resetting d factory settings, everything became proper. It's a common problem in dis fone. Once, u also try resetting d factory settings. It'll b fine.. ;)

Got this phone yesterday, but I am very much tense due to some reasons, In the store from where I got this phone they said that I have to install/register this phone with android market for which they claim 2200/-, I did not do that, so if someone knows kindly rep whether I have to do such things. And when I am trying to open the android market from phone it asks me to create a google account, I tried that but after sometime 'can not establish a reliable data connection to the server' msg is coming, but my phone is connected to the network. I can only browse internet from the browser and I can open facebook also but when I am trying to open facebook by clicking the facebook app in my mobile it shwoing an error. Kindly help me.

It'd be helpful for people who're planning online purchase.
It'd be of no use if we can't get the factory warranty. Who wants the darn dealer warranty.

i too call the dealer frm ebay and he said u hv to send da fone 2 us or hv to 2 call in se service centre for confirmation. . .

Guys, I don't understand what u people're takin about?
If you get from online, and suppose there's any broblem, you've to send the phone to the dealer to repair? Guys, if you have the warranty, you can drop in to any se service center nearby to get it repaired. You need not chase after the dealer to get it repaired.
And guys, who say that se neo is not available in india. I went to a shop in berhapur(orissa). He showed me neo and said its cost is 24000 inr. When I said that its too costly for me, he showed me neo v and said he'd give it to me at 16200 inr. He also showed me the cam quality of neo. He selected 2mp and clicked my photo. It was like 5/8 mp clear, and true to the colour of my shirt. He said you'd never get this exact colour dipiction in any samsung/nokia cams.

this phone is very nice, camera quality, sound is too good, apart from that net serfing is good. I like this phone becoz all the features is very fine.

If you don't see video files, the files may be set as hidden. To get around this, go to [Preference]->[Video list] and make sure "Display hidden files" is checked and ".nomedia recognition" is unchecked. Press "Refresh" after you changed the preference.
If this doesn't work try uninstalling n reinstalling it again.

I had no use for the hdmi cable (my tv doesn't support it). So it was more of a blessing for me that I got what I needed and nothing more.
If you need the cable then buy from adexmart as a few gentlemen here are suggesting.

ok i'll make you understand with this example..
you bought it from ebay and something went wrong like say after a month .. then you cant take to sony service center.. they will charge you money .. instead you wil have to contact your ebay dealer and courier him the phone and he will do all the repair n all from where every he wants...the only thing which takes long in this is time.. it might take you a month or more to get back your phone ..
the seller is safe i guess considering its record of 99.9%
but i don't recommend any1 to buy it only but still choice is urs :)
