This phone has li-ion battery not li-po.:-). I saw its yesterday in my friends phone.:-). He bought this for 18000 from sangeethas mobile showroom:-).awesome phone

i bought xperia neo its great phn to use every thing is great
1 ghz procesor
5 mega pix camera quality with secondary vgacemra
andrioid 2.3.4
best part is its screen quality..
rely happy buying this phn instead of galaxy s2

I got Neo V its a good phone, only lacking is 3G video call which is not possible, you can have a gtalk video call but not the 3G one, overall experience is good compare to prize and fuctions.

this is much better than any other comopany mobile handset.
i also prefer to my friends to come in sony handsets than other ones.

I heard that "no proxy settings for wifi so we can't use wifi in a corporate environment". Is that true? Please reply.

Xperia Neo has an Exmor R sensor. Does Neo V is having the same sensor? It was not explicitly mentioned anywhere (even in sonyericsson site also) that this mobile is having Exmor R sensor.

my review of sony ericsson neo v white.
design - good size to hold in one hand, easy on the fingers. light weight. looks sterdy. the chrome plates on left side which doesnt have any buttons doesnt seem to be fitted with perfection. but its non issue. the volume button, power button and camera button all on right side are easy to access as well. all in all its a clean looking phone.
display - nice smooth touch screen. display can not compete with amoled screens. but its more than sufficient. the light sensor which manages the brightness of the display is kind of weird. it only comes into play when the brightness is at its lowest and the fluctuation of the brightness is hardly noticeable. its pretty inconsistent too. at times the light sensor goes crazy, keeps fluctuating non stop creating a disturbance in the viewing experience. but when the brightness is increased , this problem of inconsistent fluctuation doesn't happen coz the light senor doesn't work then.
the user interface of sony ericsson as always is fluid and pleasing to play around with.
camera - very good 5 mp camera. takes great shots in low light as well, low on noise levels. the camera automatically saves pictures on sdcard.
loudspeaker - again fantastic sound output from the loudspeaker. clear and loud enough.
the network coverage is good. ear piece gives crisp and clean sound output while calling.
no 3g video calling , but video chat through skype or gtalk can be done.

Hi proud Neo V owners... had a couple of questions:
1. How long does it take to startup?
2. Which format are the 720p videos taken with the camera saved in? MP4, 3gp or something else?
3. Under heavy use can the battery last atleast a day?
4. Have heard a lot about reboot problems appearing after couple of weeks use. Is anybody facing these?
5. Is the Timescape UI laggy? Is is better than Samsung's Touchwiz?
