Hi proud Neo V owners... had a couple of questions:
1. How long does it take to startup?
2. Which format are the 720p videos taken with the camera saved in? MP4, 3gp or something else?
3. Under heavy use can the battery last atleast a day?
4. Have heard a lot about reboot problems appearing after couple of weeks use. Is anybody facing these?
5. Is the Timescape UI laggy? Is is better than Samsung's Touchwiz?

as per my opinion i used both xperia neo v and mini Neo V is much Better than Mini because of its Digital Screen Clarity..........

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2011The Ray's picture outcome seems richer in colour. I have no... morei agree when taken a Nightshot with flash one can observe quite a bit of noise in the image. If its a macro shot i didnt find any issue.

Xperia Neo V is the best Smart phone, Even it is much better than Xperia Arc, The difference is Arc is Slim,4 inch Screen and 8MP Camera, But the advantage of Neo V is it Has Front camera, Android version 2.3.4 and 3D Sweep Camera. Rest everything is same. Thus cost of arc is Rs 26,500 and Neo v is Rs 16,500.

is neo v camera is b... moreThe Ray's picture outcome seems richer in colour. I have not really compared them. I only use the phones camer when travel, which I did with the Ray a month ago. What I notice is that with the Exmor R, even in very low light condition, the picture come out very bright (much brighter then the actual surrounding), and that's without using the video light (Ray has no flash lite). I've tried the Neo V, but the flash come on automatically, so it's hard to compare. But from what I observe, the Exmor R definately can take good & clear picture in low light condition without a flash. Btw, the night shot picture of the Neo V (with flash), has quite a bit of noise.

I was watching one review of Neo V and reviewer mentioned one thing that, HDMI cable comes with the gold plated ports but the HDMI port on the phone is not gold plated, interestingly normal USB port is.
He was not sure why, but said it might be a mistake or some reason.
Anyone using Neo V can confirm. Also anyone knows the reason, if it is?

You can go for either one of Samsung Ace or Neo V, both are very good phones packed with best camera 5mp and bright Display.If you are not bothered about Front Facing camera and do much Video calls over skype,gtalk etc, then go for Ace which could save your 4k atleast. Other than that HDMI is also another advantage on Neo V over Ace, but in reality you need to have HDMI port on your LCD with AnyNet feature to access content of Neo V over LCd.So final call is yours depending on features you want.

hi, i got my sony neo v today. all in all its a good phone. i want to know does the phone automatically save the pics taken from its camera on to the memory card or does it save on phone memory. if it saves on phone memory how can one change the setting to save the camera pics on memory card.
also i was wondering why there is no file manager on sony neo v ?
