there is a video call thru skype, fring, ym etc..
battery life is like 5hrs gaming/3g internet.
this phone is good worth the price, the best phone! within price range of 350usd(15k php).

I own an xPeria Play since November.
So far I haven't found anything wrong with it.
Already put my PSP on the drawer. Better graphics and controls.. only missing some games, but in time..
You won't miss nothing if you like racing games, soccer games, RPG's, Space fight games, or if you like the old PSX Games.. I'm playing Final Fantasy VII and VIII.

Why SE Play is not with FM radio???
its a basic feature of all available smart phones.
I would have definately bought it, as i am die hard music lover of Sony.
Sony manufacturers please upgrade it yaar...

Seriously, now, sony has bought ericsson and all future phone will only display the sony brand.

You can install emulators ans play psx1 games and other older games.
Anyway you have a quite extensive list of games 'adapted' to the xperia gamepad.That way you won't have to play with your fingers on the screen and you'll always have a full view of the 4" screen.
If you find it at a reasonable price, it certainly outwits the galaxies and iphones of this world...
This is a fun phone that misses none of other phones' features.
I only wish it had 3G video calling!

Having a front camera and no 3g video calls is like having it to check on your hair basically: pointless.

I wish Adroid kept video calling through 3G.
That is very useful for call plans that include 3G, but NOT data connections.
On my older phones I can "video call" anyone who has a 3G phone (whatever the brand/model) without paying extra.
But I have to pay (quite a lot!)whenever I download A-GPS, Weather and any updates that require a data connection (WiFi).
For millions of customers video or cvoice calling is actually the same: it's Data connections are unpractical because they're so expensive and are not included in call plans.
I hope they'll 'learn the lesson' with the new 4.0 (Ice Cream) version and start including video calling over 3G.
Brands that have developed specific 3G video calling applications (such as HTC or Samsung) have been able to conquer customers who don't wish to lose what they've had for years.
The basic issue remains that for many phone users WiFi video calls via Skype or Gmail are VERY expensive and therefore they're - unfortunately - NOT an option! =(
