By delaying lyk this. Se should be adding features that people want on the phone .that it doesnt hv. If not then whats costing the delay

Natively android os doesn't support 3G video-call option (via phone number)

Bad news guys! According to the OFFICIAL Sony Ericsson UK site, it is now available LATE July!

Xperia pro does support video calling (and has a front facing camera) but it does not come with a pre-loaded client for this.
So, if you find an app that supports video calling for Android phones it should work fine.

SE's UK online store now says "Available late July". Maybe still worth waiting for?

This phone doesn't support video calling (infact no xperia variant does) then why videocalling feature is listed above in specs?

Sony Ericsson told me the phone will be released late July.... they have delayed its release.
this is really bad decision, they have just concentrated on the mini's and they've forgot this amazing phone...
SE provided me a link for pre order in UK, and it says Late July too.

been waiting for... moreSe said that this will release in Q2 when it was announced (MWC). In my calender, it tells me that it is not Q3 anytime soon, therefore be patient and wait or just go for another phone!

Like many of you, I have also been waiting for this keyboard equipped wonder from SE for months and also hoping for a word from SE about the official release date. Well, here is something that might interest you. Today I read an article in the Swedish mobile magazine Mobil.se about this, and it said that according to their "sources" Xperia pro may not be released until October (2011?). OK, a rumour only, but maybe it is time to realize, if it is still worth the wait.

Sony Ericsson is seriously losing it's touch with it's customers. It's a shame really.
And even though this phone is not released yet, it is already outdated, old CPU and all.
I still want to buy it, but they are making people wait an awfully long time.
A clear date should have been set for the release of this phone.
I used to be a big SE fan, but they killed that for me.
The only customers they seem to be attracting now are loyal "fans" and people who don't know much about phones.
Well, anyway, I still think this phone looks great.
