Guys and Gals. I know that you're all eager to get your hands on the Xperia Pro. The fact that we have all been waiting quite a while for it can get frustrating, however keep in mind that when finally released and in the palm of your hands, you will say that it was worth the wait. Ive been a loyal Sony Ericsson user since forever and despite friends and family trying to sway me towards BlackBerry and Iphone, I still remain faithful to SE. The Xperia Pro has it all. It may not have the fastest OS when it's finally released, but non the less it'll still wizz through any media app, website and or programme.
I currently have the Xperia X10 running on android 2.1 and its still outperforming most of the competition. From the day it was announced till when I finally got it months later, I remember saying it was worth the wait.
Being an owner of the SE P800, P900, P990i and onto the first Xperia X1 and now the Xperia X10 I am confident that SE will once again bring out another exceptional smartphone offering pretty much everything you could possible want or need in a classy and reliable compact device.
Patience brings great rewards.

By the time it releases to America it won't be called Q2 it will be called Q3 or even Q4 if they are this ridiculous.

TO ALL PEOPLE ABOUT RELEASE DATES!
The expected release date in UK,Europe is End of July. The release date in Canada,USA will be around september or late August. Just be patient. It even says on the Sony sites when the phone will be released in UK, and Canada is a few months behind so im expecting it here July +2-3 months.

SE at it again, this phone will probably arrive just in time to make it for the Christmas market. Such a shame, been waiting for this one for soooo long, even though I have some issues with it. Could a more reliable and better manufacturer just put out an android with physical keyboard?

Go to specifications and check the video call time information. It has been shown with X.
Now go to any other phone's page like W995, Hazel etc and you would see that UMTS call time is mentioned.
SonyEricsson has confused lot of people with its secondary camera. Before these phone everybody use to understand that if there is a front camera then it would be able to make video call but with the introduction of these phone this kind of myth is now broken.
having secondary camera doesn't guarantee video call but yes it can do video chat. but for this the other party's phone should also have such kind of phone which can support video chat. There is currently no app for video call however for video chat there is.
If you are into video calling then buy it at your own risk however Galaxy S 1 and 2 of Samsung Android phone does support video call.

This is miles better than Arc,,its got qwerty and second camera for video calls..This fone is more fone size with nicer 3.7 inch screen. Its got all the features of the Arc.Come on s/e get this fone out ,,you have 20 days left..

I AM BUTTON FAN and hate pure touchscreen..At this moment i am considering s/e xperia pro,,BB 9900 or Nokia E6 ..Now by the time these smartfones arrive they will be outdated..
The xperia range is already a generation behind in proccessors and yet the Neo and xperia pro are nowhere to be seen..For crying out loud companys get these smarfones out before they are dead in the water.
I still think he s/e p900/p910 was the ultimate gadget fone,,it had 5 way jog dial,,flip away T9 keypad ,,stylus input or take the keypad off for pure touch..Bring it out again with todays spec and 2000mA battery lying length off fone like original p900/p910. They should call it the P900 TURBO and have turbo written sportily allover the back battery cover. :-)
