Here is my wish list for the next Xperia Pro, if there is one coming at the August 29th event (this comment posted elsewhere on GSM Arena today too):
Having owned an Xperia Pro now for a few weeks, I so hope they release an improved version. The current X Pro is excellent, but let down by it's sluggish processor and way too many bugs that cause the otherwise sexy implementation of Gingerbread to go all wobbly every so often.
The following other improvements would create one of the world's ultimate phones:
- 1080P video recording
- Larger physical buttons across the board (the current ones are too small and fiddly)
- Better positioned volume buttons. When the keyboard is slid out, adjusting the volume is very difficult
- Slightly larger form factor allowing for a bigger keyboard and display, as the current display is a tad too small for my eyes and a larger keyboard area would allow for a separate number row, like the recent Motorola Droids
- Headphone jack that works with iPhone and iPod compatible headphones!
You can do it Sony!

I used to have ... moreHi nice Review. Even I am a previous S.E.X. Mini Pro user upgraded to Pro. I love the phone but I need to ask u if you have rooted yours. I dont need ICS, Happy with Gingerbread so I really want to root my phone and make it a living beast! Please Please post a video on how to do so! Tx

Do... morei think it got something to do with apps install, try uninstall the last app that you install. some apps will try to go online and download update,some power saver apps also keep the screen awake, it happen to me too after uninstall power saver apps fine again.

I Have A Problem With My Xperia Pro Phone!
Does anyone experience screen randomly turning on and off after restart or even after you lock your screen. For example, my phone is in the table and i'm not doing anything to it but suddenly it randomly turns on and off for about 4 times and then it stops. Another example is after i restart my phone, after the sdcard scanning where the screen turns off, after a few seconds the screen again randomly turns on and off. Why is that?

have been using it from last month. till now no problem found. but sometime it live wallpaper makes the launcher slow. otherwise is fantastic... Oh! the phisical keyboard is well beyond my expectation... A five star...

been using this phone for two years now.. i'm in south africa, havn't got the updates to 4.0 yet, any one in sa whos got the updates yet.. well its a nice phone, it has everything i want.. the ram is too low it freeze sometime. and i want to root it, anyone who have rooted it?

I'm thinking to buy one Xperia pro. The Android 2.3 OS made me to rethink. Can it be upgraded to Android 4. And please tell me how is the key pad performance and is there any problem wid the sliding mechanism...?

AnonD-6265, 20 Jul 2012do any1 using any case/cover for pro,if so than suggest whi... moreI am using a black mesh case with my xperia pro. It fits very good and solves finger print problem and prevents scratching back panel and side. But there is a small problem the holes in the mesh case easily get filled with dust. So i have to remove the case and clean the phone and case on regular basis. The dust can only seen while case removed.
