Experience after upgrading to ICS
- Better UI
- Phone has become slow
- Battery consumption has doubled
- Phone overheats most of the time
If Sony doesn't fix these bugs soon, we'll need to downgrade to Gingerbread

for people who don't know how to update without the use of pc companion software ,after updating u can't go back to gingerbread ,(unless u learn how to use flash tool),u will stuck with ics which has very laggy camera on the xperia pro ,u will stop using the video camera because it becomes very slow.
i updated my phone through flash tool since the first week of ics release and remove it after few days of using it.
sony needs to release a fix for the ics rom,even the users of the xperia s are complaining about the new update.
any way if any one is stuck with ics rom and wants to go back to gingerbread he can ask me i might be able to help :)

Try to update your phone using SUS. I update mine using that last may 30.

Hello guys,,,this is 8am now,,,I checked in PC Companion...and you know what,,,it is showing an update to ICS. Yes I have got it. Yesterday I mailed to Sony,,,and really it worked. Guys who are not getting ICS update in PC Companion,,,plz you also do what I did...read my comments I made on this blog previous to this.

Same problem for Sony Ericsson Xperia pro (model MK16i, error when phone is preparing, own install do not start.

Finally I am seeing an ICS update on PC Companion however every time I try to update the software an error comes up... Is everyone facing the same problem? Is there any solution for it? Please reply !!!

Hi fellas, am really thinking of getting the Pro, but i wanna know if it has a dual camera, i mean like the one you can use to video chat on skype and facebook or something. And have you been able to upgrade the android os to v4.0? Thanks!
