I have an information that may be very helpful for those who are not being able to update their XperiaPro via PC Companion.
Today I talked to Cust Care Executive,,,he told me that many others are also facing the same problem. So he guided me to do this on computer as below:
1. On right side of task bar, click right button on PCC icon.
2. Then click on "About Sony PC Companion".
3. A window will open. Click on "here".
4. Then see on desktop, a new file will be created which looks as zipped folder.
5. Now attach this file in a mail and send to questions.in@support.sonymobile.com
Now wait for the revert from Sony.
I have done this,,hope this time I will get a solution.

Hiiii frds.. My mobile has SI 1248-9076.......its showing in ICS update but I m unable to update tht at home through pc companian......did all of u had same problem pls tell me hw to update?????.............

AnonD-47518, 25 Jun 2012pro speaker qaulity is gud and having dual microphone it re... moretanx man :D is it gud compared to neo-v (the spaker quality) i'm a sony user..i've used hazel and x10..both of them have the same problem >:( i juss cant hear anything in traffic...thats the reason i'm thinkg too much to buy my new phone..if the caller voice is really gud compared to other pieces..i'm ready to go for it :) :D

hey guys..i'm tnkng to buy this phone..i'm not going to change it for 2-3 years..my friend has neo-v and its speakr quality is too poor..i can't even hear anything from the other person while calling..and in traffic..its too poor..does pro have the same problem or it's speakr quality is fine?? this is the main problm for me..please clarify

Also check whether Java is updated on ur PC.
