You can try custom GB roms and kernels - that is best for gaming. But try also ICS gaming roms... Generaly GB should be better for gaming, ICS for everything else...gaming is also ok if games are not demanding!
I dont have any games on my xperia Ray...I tryed temple run and similar games...asphalt etc. But, dont realy play games on my phone... This is not gaming phone! But here and there is ok to play games.

Also, try search xda for more download files etc. Before downgrade run SUS and update/repair your phone so on computer you have raw files from which you can make ftf to flash back on your countrys rom version...
Try some ICS custom roms and GB roms optimized for games. With root you dont lose warranty, unlocking bootloader you lose your waranty and cant use SUS to update anymore. For root you can use Eroot app - it is new way to root - one click root! For cwm there is app on google play - x-parts (pvy)

hello guys
i am using 4.0.4 on my xperia ray. but ics is so laggy and now i want to downgrade my phone to gingerbread because many hd games do not run on ics. But i cant get an one click download link to download flashtool and the gb ftf file. if any body can give me a download link then i would be very thankful. plz friends help me

HD for sure, full hd I didnt try, i think it can be played, must try...I think i only have had one movie in full hd - dont remember if there were some problems...Full hd doesnt have much sense on that small phone. HD works. Full HD maybe...if overclocked to 1,4 Ghz...dont know.

To play video in any player, install MX player. It plays full HD files, i've tested upto 1.5 gb movie. No lag, never.
The cam is 8mp, excellent.
Never upgrade to ICS or you will kinda ruin ur phone.
Ram is less so you can observe some lag if (only)ram is full.

can this phone plays all kinds of video without coversion, like mp4,mkv,flv etc? can i watch full hd movies on this phone without any lagings? someone plz help me out. i have to know this before i buy this phone. thnx in advance :)

wifi was alright before but now its no longer working. I can't access to any wifi connection even if i type it manually. please help. maybe there is something to reset? thank you.

Akayasha, 17 Jun 2013If you want to use it for only phone calls messeging , brow... moreI have this phone, and i love it . i have tested some hd games like bad company 2, nfs hotpersuit and it did not lag at all.i suggest u upgrade to ics 4.0.4 and before upgarding factory reset ur phone and uninstall all applications.

Extremly durable - I use it without a case, it falls often - nothing happens. A few days ago it flew out of my car window mid turn, hit the road asphalt and side walk - some bruises aound the metal frame, but other than that its ok.

Waqas overall battery is good almost on full charge it gives a good 1-2 days of usage and it depends upon the user how he/she manages with it I am using it with custom rom RAYONIUM V7.If we use it a hour with wifi-on it drains 10-14% of battery

Ray is excellent phone, without lag or any bugs. Ofcourse, there are better phones...with better camera, proc, ram, space...But it doesnt run much faster than ray in everyday use.
