this is my 4th week using the ray (st18a). the touch screen is Not responsive as iphone, if you have multi apps open, u can fell the lag when u switch between them or open apps. iphone4s is much smoother. battery only last for 13-14hr, I listen 2hr music, SMS alot, so I have to charge once I got home. reason I like the phone is it's small, I don't like big phone, it can tethering & hotspot without rooted the phone. camera and video recording pretty good, I give it 7 from 1-10 over all.

i already have seen xperia ray being sold here and i love how it looks.. i want this for my husband.. he doesn't like big phones.. it's perfect but i am worried about some feedbacks regarding its touchscreen being not so responsive.. is it really not responsive? or can it be fixed with proper settings?
so far, this issue holds me back for buying one..

Sony ericsson india sucks. they have not launched the ray in white and neither can anyone have seen the livesound headset. very bad move by SE

You should choose this or Neo. The onscreen keyboard is totally funcional. And this has a bigger screen, easy to type.

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2011If you believe the front facing camera is so important to y... moreI don't believe I said that the front facing camera was so important to me. I only stated that it had one where as the arc did not. This is one thing that the Ray has over the Arc.
Although I cant say I have used Skype in the toilet, I have used it when I am far away from Family and want to see and talk with them. It is very difficult to use a computer for Skyping when you are in the middle of nowhere and need to rely on 3G or HSDPA.

I'm using HTC wildfire and have bought a new SE Xperia Ray. Xperia Ray is cool and amazing. It's beautiful, slim, stylish and elegant. It's the best phone I ever had. I just love it! Well done, Sony Ericsson!

The R... moreIf you believe the front facing camera is so important to you, there are a lot of choices on he market, not the the SE Arc S. Wonder how often people will use their phone for video chat;; especially on a small screen? Everyone has got a computer at home or work.
Guess you do not use your cell phone for Skype video chat in the toilet!?

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2011Definately NO! ... Go for the Neo V or Arc S, they are both... more...but the Arc S does not have a front facing camera. The Ray does, so in this respect, Ray wins hands down if you want to Skype someone ;)

can you please help me out?i'm using this phone and everytime i signed in to facebook or twitter it says an error has occurred but when i go to youtube it plays just fine, my wifi signal is very strong...please help
