Awesome phone, got a question though. Anyone also got this little problem : bottom left plastic is a little loose? You can feel it if you push it with your thumb.

Got this one for my daugther and I'm really pleased with it.
Using smart phone stuff is really fun. Even the current first generation firmware is fast.
Obviously my dual core bomber beats it in every 3d game, but to be frank, I don't play many of them on my phone .. :-)
Don't have to tell that the cam is great, like almost all hi-end Sony (the 4s has also a 8mpix Sony sensor).
The only thing that keeps me form immediately selling my 4+" dual core is the display. The size is nice, it's really not too small. It's way better than the ones on the Xperia minis. But lg screens are really better. This phone with a samsung samoled display would make me put my phone on eBay today. ;-)

Hi i'm using this phone for 2 weeks and here are my reviews
Screen 8/10
Style 8/10
Camera 7/10
Music 6/10
Battery 5/10
Touch 7/10
and the drawback am facing with this phone is the battery life,it withstands only 13 - 14 hours after hard use. A good phone to buy at this price,Screen clarity is awesome, camera is also good

AnonD-1267, 19 Oct 2011Sounds like you have a faulty handset.
It shouldn't lag w... moreMine is also unlocked version.I have never bought operator branded phones. I bought it because I never understood why poeple are going for bigger phones. In the end of the day, it is a phone and not a tablet!
Wityh fewer applications installed (hence why more RAM available) it constantly crashes. Needs some time to load the applications or the home screen when you need to multitask.
Also, after I restart the phone it takes long time to update the music folders. It might be because I am using a 16Gb memory card.
Also let me know about your battery life.
Please let me know if you will experience any launcher crashes after you will start install applications.I will be back in U.K. shortly and I might have a chance to change it.
I would appreciate your feedback.
Thanks

Marinaud, 19 Oct 2011Here I am again, after extensive use of the phone, to make ... moreSounds like you have a faulty handset.
It shouldn't lag with music playing while browsing.
Touch screen shouldn't involve any kind of pressure as it is a capcative touchscreen.
I also have a Ray and not experienced any of the issues you have had, although I have only had mine for about 4 days. It is also a UK version but is the sim free model.

AnonD-23027, 19 Oct 2011I checked this settings and the ambient light sensor value ... moreI did the same thing. The values do change and so does the screen according to the light. Although the actual brightness change is more gradual than say the xperia mini.

Here I am again, after extensive use of the phone, to make some light and provide you with feedback.
Pro's: lightweight
above average camera (nice shots in low light conditions, even in the night, although having only photo light, taken from close distance, the photos are not bad)
screen sensitivity: requires double touch sometimes, but ultimately i have noticed that when you touch the screen trying to make a selection, if you keep your finger on the icon for little longer than you are used, it will take your comand without the need to re-touch
I believe is connected to the sensitivity calibration of the screen (so further updates might be able to allow a faster response)
I have also noticed that you need to press somehow harder on the screen, in order to register your imput. Not really a bad thing, as it prevents accidentaly touch, sometimes
Screen is also extremelly readable in the sunlight, way above average, but you can also see the display grid (quite unacceptable for 2011)
Screen is very crips and bright, however tilting the phone the colours will wash away.If you need to compare, from the right angle, better than many screens out there, from a side....far from most of them.
Shape & Feel: Definately, one of the best looking smartphone out there.Feels great in your hand and it has the proper size. When the screen is off, you can't tell the size of the phisical screen. The screen and the upper and lower part of the phone, becmoes one.
Absolutelly, gorgeus!!!!
User Experience: I have did a lot of study and documentation and altough the processor seems extremely capable, the phone is doing great if used as a phone. The moment you start using it as a smartphone it blocks, the launcher restarts everytime you need to multitask. It is unbelieavable, as with the music player and internet...the phone can't keep up!!! You will hear the music interrupting as it looks like the processor can't keep up.I have tried different launchers....nothing works. Will reload the widgets, reload the menus, reload everything. It is by far,the worst phone I have ever own.
Comparing with Nexus S...way behind, lags always.Technically, it's processing capabilities are above Nexus's S. In real life....no! Well, even a Samsung Galaxy S or a Motorola Defy which I owed before, will perform better, altough with a 800 Mhz Procesor.
Honestly, horible experience.
Those of you saying the phone is great, they have never probabily used it as a smarphone.
Yes, I have about 50 applications used, but still 105 MB free (internal memory) and the 161 RAM.
Other phones with lower specs and lower memory can perform way better, I mean way!!!
SonyEricsson needs to come up with a quick update!
Battery Life: If used as a phone is good, not sensational, nor bad.Good! But considering the size of the device, not really good.
With the light under 50 % (somewhere around a quarter of the maximum) in 2 hours of wifi you will be on 50 % battery.
If you play Angry Birds for just under 10 min you will loose about 10 % of the battery!!!!Hello?????
A Nexus S with a way bigger screen cosumes way less. I mean way less. I can do 4 hours of wifi with the luminosity closed ot maximum and still have 60% of battery life....
Conclusion: If you need a phone but you want to be in trend and you have no idea about what an Android device should do, go get it.
If you used Galaxy S, Galaxy Ace, Desire, Desire S, even Widfire, pretty much any other Android device out there, this phone will annoy you.Big time!
Forget about what it is on paper, in real life it does not provide what expected, in fact it does not even come close to a 800 MHZ clocked phone!!!!
But yes, is absolutely beuatiful!
...and if you have sight problems, the text throughout the phone's menu is too small. I have seen small screens like this, but the fonts were bigger. This is too small, way too small!!!
I hope it helps.
If you have encounter the same issues, please let me know.
