what happen to xperia ray's rating? i dont trust this site anymore. This phone is more capable and powerful than any mid range smart phone in the market.

[deleted post]Sony Ericsson confirmed that they'll only update the mentioned phones to a later version only after all sort of tests and is not necessary that all phones should perform well. So, the official updates will be only to the models that will perform flawlessly.

i really want to buy this phone, to exchange my xperia x8, because my sister wants it. to anyone who have bought xperia ray, can you tell me, does the LED can be used as a flashlight ? i have experienced with several android phones, and i have to say that the battery is not as good as blackberry's. but, to overcome that problem, we can use APN software from android market, so we can turn off data trafic when we don't need it. i really love android because it's smart and user friendly.....

Really great phone, powerful and responsive; excellent display with bravia engine; i charged it more than 8 hours ago and i still have 61% battery left.

Hey Guys!Actually I'm an Arc user and my friend is using this Xperia Ray bcs he likes small and compact phones.So he gave me a try and to my surprise it was as fast as Arc or even better.The screen is really sharp with Bravia engine turned on..Excellent phone.The internet browsing is also excellent.Actually my friend said that comparing with other android handsets,this phone's bat life is better for heavy usage!!So hope my review helps!!I'll recommend to anyone who wants to buy this phone!!

now I love this phone Sony Ericsson should launch an Ray S just like they did on Arc, with OTG, 3D Sweep Panorama, faster processor but it should be dual core with bunch of storage and more battery capacity, make the tiny tougher just like Xperia Mini

Unbelievable phone... It's Amazing phone I've ever had...
No battery problem.... Everything is Great in Xperia Ray...

No other Brand has got better design than SE regarding typing messages. It's so easy to use, everything is so logical, you don't even have to learn how to use it. All you need to di is by pressing on the keyboard & swipe the keyboard left or right. For example, when typing messages, you can switch from the QWERTY keyboard to the regular keyboard on the same screen - there is no need to go out & do the switching ... so simple & easy.

The phone that I have been u... moreI do believe you because when I do not have Data turn on, the phone's battery can definately last for well over 30 hours. But when I've the Data Network turned on, the battery just drain at an un-belivable rate! What do you think is the problem? Any idea or suggestions? ... other than SE's suggestions; which does not solve my problem, if I have the Data activated.
Btw, this is my second Ray, I had already exchanged for a new one; but the issue stays!
