[deleted post]First try resetting your phone. If it didn't work, try a repair using pccompanion. I think the battery drain you have is just a software issue that can be fixed by the way i told above. Do you believe a 1500mah can give only 5 hours standby? And, please get rid of the app killer. 2.3 can itself manage apps intelligently. :)

4h 39m 38s on battery, and the battery level is only 29% left. Only had a few calls, total call time not more than 30 minutes. No serving the Web., no playing with the phone screen / features, no games, no camera used - nothing. All application were turned off / killed by Advanced Task Killer.

I thought SE use LCD backlight, which uses a lot of bettery, but the spec. says LED, so I believe this is not where the problem is.
Do you have any other suggestions which migh tbe helpful?

Nothing to say about this phone..
Its is a 99.99% perfect phone. I have never seen before in any mobile brand include SONY. but it's come 1st from SONY..
One thing i want share to everyone, SONY knows perfectly how to server consumer. That is the main point..SONY respect their consumer and giving us variety with innovative products.. Thanks SONY.

There is no camera auto flash, just a manual on / off LED light.

I have never purchase any SE smartphone, this Ray is my first one. This is a very nice phone with good design & features, but battery performance is absolutely terrible. How can a 3.3" screen can only last for barely 6 hours of usage - only approx. 20 minutes of phone calls and nothing else!? My Samsung SGS2 with a 4.3" screen can last for a day.
This SE Ray has got the worst battery performance of any phone I've ever used / owner since 1985.

After a few days of using this phone, the overall performance is very good, except the performance of the battery; which is terrible. Standby time only approxmately 8 hours - without even touching the phone!! I even took the phone and exchanged for a completely brand new one, and have the same issue!
Any one have the same experience & comment or advise?

The claimed battery standby time is over 400 hours, I'll delighted if I can 10% of what's claimed!!

Although come with 1500mAh battery, the standby time is only 8-9 hours!
