very speed, but only one problem,charge... moreI have a problem with charging my phone its the only problem I have really it just doesn't charge I have had to get a spare battery to help with the problem and sometimes neither one charges its so annoying !!! otherwise a great phone ( the problem is the charger i reckon)....

lasi, 16 Apr 2013how about ICS battery life?ICS batterylife is ok. But GB is 15-20% better I think. But not a big difference! Try ICS, and if you dont like you can alwas go back to gb (as now it is). Heres what you do: root your phone (ERoot - search talk sony mobile forum, even v.62 can be rooted) and install CWM with xparts app from market...then do nandroid backup. Now you can flash ICS, GB or what you want and then if you like to go back, you can flash GB, root, CWM and restore that backup you made yourself. So you have YOUR regional version as it was.
Also there is ftf file v.62 GB on xda.

For performance etc - try to update your phone, repair/update via SUS if you are on ICS - and then root and delete bloatware. Also you have mods for camera etc...Also, GB is better for performance and games (also root and delete bloatware). For network problems - try another mobile operator! Or send your device for repair!

Xperia Ray, was really good when i bought it. But days passed, the phone lost its performance. Getting hang frequently, screen is going blank, also RAM is too low, due to which most of the games are getting struck. Also Network detection is bad, taking lot of time to search for network and also losses its connection suddenly. The only best thing is , 8 MB Camers but no Flash :(.

The internal memory is less, which can upset the gamers and app lovers. I had upgraded to ICS but i think that the camera performance degraded. I would suggest any one to stay on GB !And ICS makes no big difference.

Doesn't has Auto flash ,internal me... moreRay have led flash and led light - for light use stock or lgcamera app, and for flash use vignette app!
Internal memory is ok - 550mb is more than ok (atleast for me...even now I have 250 mb free on system and cca 200mb free on user partition. But sure 16 GB would be better, and 32 GB is even better - but there is only one flaw with that space - if phone drops dead or anything, you loose your photos, video, data...but thats for microsd 32GB! So I use 550mb for apps, and micro sd 32 gb for everything else (also apps can go on micro sd - so how is 550mb not enough!?) Dont understand?
Around menu button there is led lidgh around button. Dont understand why you want more lights? Nowdays phones doesnt even have buttons, and you want more buttons and more lights?

my screen has gone a plain grey colour, only after leaving it a while will the colour come back. this happens every time i lock my phone, anyone know what i can do?

Overall Not Too bad...
Doesn't has Auto flash ,internal memory very less...
doesn't has LED for meny key and back key...

But i think Ray is better for sure!
Ray dont lag now on ICS 4.0.4 v.587 - before it was bad, lagg, poor batterylife and bad wifi - that was in firs ICS versions - now v.587 works great, almost same as GB! - I say almost, because GB in reality have little bit better performance and ICS use little bit more of procesor power and RAM (more power hungry). Avarage user wont notice difference in terms of stabilty, batterlife, performance...only if you push to hard to the limits on ICS...then you notice that GB feels better on Ray. I used GB, than ICS, and now again GB - think there is no need for ICS on Ray, there is no big and important new stuff on ICS. But I will probbably agin update to ICS - just for sake of change... ;)

The Ray is a great phone, runs even better if you load Luncher Pro. Never had it shut down on me, unlike my Defy. Great screen and great battery life.

How is messaging? I've heard virtual key is not quiet good.
