Have bought 4 months ago. Nice phone & worked properly. but Sony's most common SCREEN BLACKOUT problem occurred. given to service center & they said Firmware & Hardware Both functioning properly. But problem didn't solved.

[deleted post]updating Ray to Jellybean is IMPOSSIBLE in the moment, according to SONY. Xperia 2011 release was said NOT RECEIVING jellybean update. Though they have plans of (MAYBE!)having it on FEW Xperia 2011 models.

kowshik, 07 Jan 2013if I do factory reset,will my all downloaded apps be delete... moreYes. It will be deleted, only if you update via phone update. But it is better in everycase use full repair, reinstall with factory reset. Phone works better then.
Use SUS + factory reset.

I have found it in sony website at xperia ray's soft update page..that means can I update my ray to jelly bean version 4.1..???

raj, 04 Jan 2013Hi frnds plz tell me which one is better ray or neo v?Specwise pretty much the same, but ofcourse there are the looks. It's what you prefer more. The Neo V has a larger screen (3.7 and 3.3 for the Ray) but the Ray has a better ppi density. The Neo V is also a little less compact than the Ray. Personally I'd prefer the Ray, cause of my experience I can't say other than this phone is a great phone, for a reasonable price plus I prefer the looks of the Ray over that of the Neo V.

NG, 03 Jan 2013Currently, it is about 360$ in Turkey.it is for 190$ in Lebanon and 200$ at max. worldwide , selling at those prices at sony certified shops!
