xperia ray is not a good phone.some may said this is a failed product from sony.plz type on google search..'xperia ray blank screen problem'..there are also video posted on youtube...really disapointed with this phone...

This phone is compact, stylish, the screen is amazing. Look at it's competitors, they have about the same price, but a far lower screen resolution, not as slim as this phone. I have this phone for more than a year now, no problems at all.

Generally gets hanged..
Totally unhappy with my cell..

I have it for some time now. It's a great phone! Screen is superb, camera is very good, batt backup is great (about 20hrs of hard use). I would recommend it to everyone, because within it's price range there is no better phone.

Quick pic - setup cashe settings how you like (biger quality, load time etc., play with it to get what you want). Quick pic can run videos but, my default video player for everything is MX PLAYER PRO - you can setup to open videos with max brightnes automaticaly (quickpic same thing - view, max brightness).
For listening songs - POWERAMP.
I dont know what you mean with massages and adding audio, but in mail there is optin to add atachment. In SMS you cant add sound - i think. Maybe if you select in new sms option right from text box - picture of two hills with + sign...so, that is option to add atachment - picture, audio, video, sound...if i go to sound, there is soundrecorder and choose music...so you get all your music(mp3) and first is "Sound", ringtones group....when you open it - there are your all ringtones. Explore that litle bit...
General rule is to put ringtones on sd card in folder called "media", then inside "audio" and "image" folders. Inside audio you put folders "alarms", "notifications", "ringtones". That way when you restart your phone android will recognize ringtones because that is how system puts ringtones... /media/audio/ringtones
You must explore you phone - and google for stuff you dont know...go on play store and look for apps with biggest number of downloads, stars, grade...

Also, on mobilism find copilot live 9.3.0.173 proper and Navigon 4.6 --->navigation software! You can try it and buy if you like...all app i put on the lis can be found free, but they are so good that I bought them if there is payed version!!! Next thing for buying is copilot or navigon - they are expensive so I watch for discount... ;)

i am having a hard time viewing photos and videos in gallery, it takes several minutes before i can view. Can you please help me, i am looking for the sound when i am writing a message(on samsung phone it is on the "system"), I cant find it on my xperia ray. hope you guys can help me.

as somebody suggested tat low ROM means less applications ,....
but i m an average user, not a game freak....

Could you please any one recommend a new phone with similar feature. An exact replacement for this tiny sized phone. Size, new OS and all the feature on this phone is on new version of a phone is what I am looking for.
