This may be due to Samsung being the only manufacturer that has everything 'in-house' i.e. they use all their own components and can therefore test handsets properly before release.

dis phone is just awesome, features r just gr8.. cam clarity is good, i just loved editing the images..war with i phone... this phone is already the warlord ..

Great phone. It was slow in the beginning but in time it ran fast and smooth. Never crashed on me, at least not yet anyways. It's a good phone, don't hate!!! If you don't like it then get the n97 when it comes out, same basic design just different os, size, functionality and company.

I have do... morehi, i had the same problem with mine. i left it for a few days and uninstalled and reinstalled the software updater and did a clear storage on the handset aswell. leave your phone for about 2 days or so then try again.when you take the battery out before putting it back like required before holding lower volume key and on/off switch leave it out for about 10 seconds aswell then replace and connect, make sure usb cable is connect to your pc before connecting to your phone then after you've connected your phone leave it a min and if nothing happens unplug usb cable from you pc and not your phone and then reconnect about 5 seconds later.

I don't know what is the problem with my xperia . I have download the upgrade (firmware) softwere and when i connect the phone (by the book) nothing happened. twice I leave the phone connected with PC for more than 5-6 hours and all the time program says something like identifying or what ever. Pls Help i have ˝hard ˝disconnected phone twice because everything was blocked even if program says ˝don't disconnect while program is working˝ but i have no choice. Thanks

few more things the x1 is still small size compact and you can call it mobile not over size like other phones about.
get ya self some decent head phones like audio technica ath-anc3. sounds excellent

been using this phone on vodafone for a few months with the tweeks from xda developers its a fast and his great for every thing. no drop calls either. 16 gig card works a treat with no problems advise all x1 users to get a screen protector :).
just remember 32 gig on an n series aint too clever if your phone dies total loss of all your stuff.

i have had terrible problems with this phone, crashing slow ui turns off on its own and then one of the buttons just fell off! in the end i sent it bk and got a htc touch hd

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970No u r wrong. N97 cant win against X1.because X1 is one of the best phone ever.N97(all N series)have operating system and appearance same like that of 6600 it is much boaring.
But the WALKMAN series is best.
N series is totally waste of money.dont buy a N series.
