            P.S.
SE has already announced sime time ago (see GSMARENA News) that SE will not let HTC make the next X1.

I guess not because HTC did such a great job!

Before you rate the X1 or review it please use it first!! The phone boasts so many features, yet SE clearly forgot to install the phone on the X1! Its shocking how often this phone will drop calls. Windows Mobile is full of flaws just like all MS Windows products! Please SE next time you ask HTC to manufacture a phone for you think twice! I had the P1 prior to the X1 and its more stable, has better reception and a lot more user friendly. I am really shocked at what lengths a company such as Sony Ericsson will go through just to get on to the " Windows Mobile" band wagon. Stick to what you good at. Symbian is a far more superior platform than what Windows will be in the next 50 years. I am very dissapointed with SE and will consider a new brand when purchasing again. The lesson, don't sacrifice quality for sales!! ˝

I agree with most of your point.

The reception of X1 is horrible.
The software buggy and unreliable. It is much worst than other WinMo phones.

The battery life is very unpredictable. I have tried several X1 units.

On this forum fans and reps can talk all day long how great is the X1 the facts tell differently.

As far as sales - it is not that great.
X1 is offered free with a cheap contract. It is shame that I can not take it even for free.

                  Absolutely!

All you need to do is go into the folder where the music is loaded. Using your stylus, press the stylus on the music track you want to use as a ring tone untill another menu comes up. Select the option that says 'set as ring tone'.

                  Hope this helps!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Mate, I wasn't being rude. See my other posts. I have been genuinely answering people's queries and helping them.

But what you asked is something that has been asked so many times here. All I wanted is for you (and some other ppl like you) to at least make an effort to find the answer to their query about the max memory card size. Reading the posts from just the last few days would have been fine. But you chose not to.

So ya, if you own an X1, or want to buy one, it'll only help you to read these forums (esp this one and XDA Developers). There are loads and loads of tips. A smartphone is only as smart as you make it. Otherwise all phones can make and recieve calls, you dont need an X1 if that's what you need a phone for. So do the smart thing.

Now feel free to go complain.

That's right. I dont wanna be rude to anyone. But just expect that people who own or are interested in this smartphone are smart enough to do a little search before asking something that has been asked countless number of times before. I personally find it quite helpful just to read the posts on this forum. Learn so many things from some of you who already owned an X1. But as ASD says, the search feature is always there for some of you who dont wanna spend any time going through the posts (search for "microSD" or "16gb" or "32gb")

                                    People, be a little smart.
