If that's your school of thought then you would be better buying a symbian based handset. Windows Mobile is rather complicated, especially if your not willing to learn the tips n tricks. Symbian and java applications are very basic but some people prefer a phone to be a phone whereas my phone is my mobile computer.

i recently purchase the x1 at phonesource-usa, but rite after i order i realize that i don't know if it's x1i or xla i live in the us and use att.i read some problems that ppl have with xli with the 3g but can't receive call. i emailed them asking but havn't gotten a response and the return policy is ONLY if its defective i can exchange. the specs on the site covers 850 and 1900 but that same specs is on both models. thanks once again gsm guys.

I've had the Xperia for about a month now and i must admit that although i am very fond of it, it does have in my opinion some drawbacks. First and foremost i am EXTREMELY disappointed by the battery life. I am not a heavy application user but i still have to charge the phone each night. This was a big annoyance having used the adorable Samsung E730 for almost 4 years. The (for me relatively) poor battery life was a particularly large shock since one of the main selling points for me was the claimed 833 hours of standby time on this site (and others). Other than that and some minor design comments i have been very happy with this versatile little (okay maybe not so "little") precious. Finally i would like to note that i find the customization options for the panels lacking. This special interface should be one of the main advantages of the Xperia over its competitors. I think SE missed an opportunity here.

Adi, 27 Feb 2009Hello Ray..How about the video player, have u ever find a pr... moreAdi,

Have you ever tried to play a video with a resolution of 320x240 on a mobile device with a resolution of 640x480?
Or have you set your computer display (assuming AR of 4:3) to 800x600 and played a .AVI file with a resolution of 1024x768?

Did you have any sort of problems?

As far as I know, the video players do a reasonably good job of downscaling/upscaling, and I have personally never experienced a problem because of the fact that the display's resolution is different from the resolution at which the video was recorded.

So now, if you still think X1's resolution is a problem because SOMEBODY told you so, please go back and ask that SOMEBODY for the explaination. Or just get the phone, play with it and see for yourself.

On the other hand, if are you trying to get to some ridiculous excuses to not buy this phone, lemme just tell you this... I cant care less.

                                Comprende amigo?

Dude, why dont you have a reading of the posts in the last few days (not asking you to read from the last weeks or months, just a few days) before asking what's the max size supported for the expansion card?

If you dont find the answer, lemme know and I'll gladly reply to your query.

All I want is for people to read through some previous posts before asking something that has been asked scores of times.
