You are talking about a dream phone it does not exist jet for costumers, comparing against nokia devices already winner as a multi media user simply and friendly!

Remmember WIndows Mobile is PDA based, that is what it makes it not user friendly. Windows Mobile will basicly be first Windows for smarthphone, pired up with Nvidia Tegra and you got somthing :)

As for DivX, many of 640X480 it can not play well... ARM 333Mhz works on low resolution screen phones line N95 and basicly every nokie expect E90 and maybe N97.
So Symbian on X1 screen would choke if it only had 333Mhz,so it is reasonble to except from Nokia to finaly give us something like 500+Mhz in theri phones.
But what the hack i am buying Windows Mobile Phone with Nividia Tegra processor in a year, with HD playback and like 10 times more battery life than X1 or eny nokia for that part. Qualcomms 7200 is ooold, too old, the one Nokia uses 333Mhz, from TI i think is even older...
I will survive with E90 till than, it is the second next to X1 on the market right now, still why buying X1 for just a year...

By the way the E90 it's CPU is 330 Mhz ARM, and it have two screens to interact that device, sure may slow down a bit, but the video divx and mp4 it plays well, no problem with it, where the winmo is chopping videos!

Battery life is very good unless ur on it the whole day, you can forward txt messages, email support is great and simple, there is html view also...

The nokia operating system is very simple useful and operative that you can trust for that wot is made for!
Example: If you take the old nokia 6600 it have a CPU 106MHz very slow really, but it can play DivX in full screen very smooth compare to WinMo devices, but if talking about nokia N-series or nokia 5800,N97 than please be nice with your self, because this devices are as powerful more than any phone, PC or Laptops, not in MHz rating but working things out and easy!
If X1 was built in symbian system it would have been twice as powerful device!

mo, 22 Dec 2008whats so gr8 about the sony ericsson x1, it has a bad 3.15 ... morecamera is 3.2mp and color is 65k still this phone has best screen resolution ,see the demo of this phone you can't imagine,because never u seen this type of clarity in any other phone,and 3.2 mp ,you can click a photo from any 2mp phone of Sony Ericsson and just view on the screen of computer or note book you will satisfied with that clarity also.

Got a bit of a little niggle regarding the optical joystick - it's just completely failed!!!
Is anybody else having the same experience, and if so did you manage to sort it out?
I've got an exchange for it coming tomorrow... Hope it doesn't happen again.
Other than that, it's a stunning phone!

Although, if you get the X1 with a contract it is FREE, In that case who will pay the TAX?

There area few guys here (repS?) who claim 7 days of usage with a single charge :))))
-while WM, X1, battery etc. published all over the place.
WM 6.5 is out. But I guess no fix since ATT seems to dump all WM models.
