Hellow everyone, I want to buy my first windows mobile phone. I found Xperia X1 to be very good choice as it is old and proven, but not getting it in market. All are saying its production has stopped. Can any one tell me where I can buy it in Mumbai? (Pls provide address details). Thanks in advance

I read all different kind of opinions here. Either negative or possitive, but in general I can say this phone is great, unique and challenging.I have this phone for almost 2 yrs, still love it.I get bored very easy, but X1 still keeps me entertain. I suggest you guys need to read more about each phone so you could find out more what you do or don't like about that phone.Don't cry if you already bought it, trade in for something else simple. The phone is a good machine i must confess.
the only diffrence it has with the blackberry is just the BB chat to think i sold BB to get this X1.
My issue is the tempreture when u make long calls.
it heats up and nearly burns de ear.
Any ideas on how to avoid this cos im losing my ears.
I also noticed that after dowloading any panel, the instalation is always an issue. How do i download a panel

i bought my Sony Ericsson x1 in December 2009 and i cannot send any songs from my phone ,i can only receive songs but cannot send,when i went to the shop where i bought it ,they said they cannot do anything about it,
It is a software problem i must take it elsewere

i bought this 6months ago and 3months ago the screen went off and since then it keeps rebooting everytime,can't get to desktop screen,and the only sony ericsson care center(I CELL) in nigeria cant repair at it and av taken it to so many places and it cant be repair..i dont know what to do about it cos it is just a waste of money. even sony ericsson cant repair their own phone,they dont even know what's is wrong with this phone...if you want to buy this phone,u can ask yourself why the keep dropping everyday

Hi am raj just want to know dat x1 has windows 6.1 , we can update frm 6.1 to 6.5 is it possible to update after update is there is no problem in phone if it is ok than plz 4rm where can i update plz tell me on my email- raj.18aug@gmail.com

And, just to complete my review, the most important rule to buy this phone:
Do NOT BUY it if:
- You have laziness about read or search on web.
- You don't understand nothing about computers (because you're dealing with microsoft mobile here).
- You don't like new stuffs.
- You don't like plenty options difused (I don't exactly call windows mobile an organized software...).
- You are the kinda people who likes to buy and use exactly what you bought.
- You want the fastest cellphone ever made.
- You want a bug free cell.
- You do not like change "original" programs.
