dis fone SUCKS dead slow plus keeps freezin n lags even build quality is poor the nokia 5800 is gonna kills this xperia EASY n how da hell did dis fone get highest vote wat a load of BALLS it wont stay top rated fone for long cos now ppl c it on main section ppl gonna hav a look n c its useless n give it wat it deserves which is 5 out of 10

it just amaze me how this phone gets such a high rating... it just launched recently. Obviously rating are posted by people who don't even have this phone. Amazing...

Me as a Smartphone and PPC fan never paid attention to SE as they only make toyish Dumbphones.
But I wonder how the simple minded SE Fan, adapted to the primitive, buggy SE Software can deal with Windows Mobile, must be like monkey, used to play with bananas, getting a calculater, which he disappointed wants to get rid of because the camera has "only" 3 MP^^ PEACE SE FANs

I hope this phone will be able to:
-Drag & drop custom alert sounds (Open/Close, IM, SMS, MMS, Call, and Email)
-Copy & paste
-Animated backgound (gif and video)
-Video ringtones
-Add AIM/Yahoo Messenger similar or better then Sidekicks
-Call Block list
-Add Dictionary
-NES/SNS/Sega Gen emulator
-Screen shot enabler
-Drag & Drop pictures and MMS them (Jpg and animated gif)
-Converter (Currency, weight, measurment, etc...)
And this would conclude me dream phone (Note: my iPhone can do 80% of the things mentioned above)!!!

Revenant, 03 Nov 2008Umm, the panel interface, the stripped down win-mo, user fr... moreJust so you know, XPERIA will have touchflo 3d panel available... becouse it is much more user friendly... and if htc would know that xperia is THAT good. they just would not agree to make it... or boost the quality of their own production...Innovative "panels" and the qwerty keyboard is all that this phone has against its competitors... But the screen is smaller than all the other competitors have (Nokia Tube, Samsung OMNIA, Iphone, HTC Touch HD), the camera is only better than the Iphones... its also the thickest one. It works slowly... Doest even have an auto rotate sensor... So it just has the adventage of the qwerty keyboard... And the panels (that work slow) It deffinalety is not more user friendly tham all of the competitors, HTC HD is the only one that could be at the same level as XPERIA... No built in memory as OMNIA or Iphone. No good color depth or resolution. The price is even higher than HTC HD... So u pay the MOST to get the worst screen, second worst camera, worst thickness, no auto rotate sensor, qwerty keyboard and an innovative UI (that is slow)... The person who would chose this phone should have LOADS of money he won in a lotery to waste so easely, HUGE pocets, a digital camera with him, he should just ignore the screen, but he writes a lot on his phone...

Can someone gimmie the low down on how this compares to the HTC touch Pro, I'm thinking about getting the touch pro because it is readily available here and me thinks it looks milestones better. Why is this phone so highly rated?
and please... if you don't have the phone, don't tell me how fantastically awesome/crap it is, I want to hear this from someone who actually has it...
