i talk with SE india number is 011-39011111.
a lady told me they r launching in india on 10th of oct. and with in 12 oct u will get this phone in all india.
price will be between 40k to 50k.

anonymous..., 01 Oct 2008where can u get this phone...u sed it is available...A friend of mine works for SE and he was able to get one for me, and this phone ROCKS unless you're a diehard Nokia fan who must have a Nokia with you LOL. I'm now comparing this to Blackberry Bold for work purposes, I may want the Blackberry also as secondary phone for its infamous push mail service.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970All that I need from XPERIA is the QWERTY keyboard and Nokia Tube doesn't have it. I also need the push email, pocket office for editing office documents, and full windows compatibility with WM. Does Nokia Tube have those? I don't think so. I don't use my cell phone merely for listening to music, watching videos and taking pictures everywhere I go with friends, I need it for work. And I really don't care about full touchscreen phones ala iPhone, good luck writing emails with that. Also, I don't think you have the XPERIA already to say whatever you have said. Go back to your Nokia and teenagers world Kyle, this phone really isn't for you. Don't act like you know what you're talking about, you don't.

Here in New Zealand, no... morewell mate- i got word on monday that the X1 is coming sooner than you think. There is currently 1 model each in Au and NZ- being used to demonstrate to the teleco companies.
be expecting it in about 1-2 months. It has a release date of 30/10/2008@ http://www.citymobile.com
and they are saying it retails at $1199. not too sure if that is in AUD or USD, but i think the retailers and teleco companies will go $100-$200 higher than that price.
the sony ericsson homepage has now released a video demonstration of the X1 as well. Good stuff, and i am leaning towards buying a silver one myself.

Bought it already from a friend who works in SE and this phone is OMG!!!!! Don't believe those fools who complained about this product without ever using it themselves, fool!! None of those applies.
