Symbian is OK, SE make wrong step.As if u have never used a Windows , Xperia perhaps the pocket Windows Vista! Windows better than symbian !
Perhaps there will b an windows/nokia phone,in a near future!

As a product planner for X1, multimedia always meant high quality, nice screen, good playback horse power, easy ui …this comes from my years of working at Sony (our parent).
So when I started X1 planning I wanted to deliver the best in class multimedia to our consumers. The high end chipset in X1 allows for DVD quality playback of movies and some of our preinstalled contents show case that. 3D chip from ATI in the phone makes it a good platform for high end games. excellent support for music with cool BT speaker accessory. Great camera UI to capture high quality pics and movies and crisp screen to view those recorded memories.
All in all X1 qualifies itself as the best multimedia phone in the market today. The Media Xperience panel UI (similar to PS3 and Bravia) empowers the user to have the best in class Media experience with the touch of the screen.

The camera of Xperia is quite good
it has a 3.2 MP camera which makes video VGA at 30 fps
so camera is cool n also it has dual led flash

se may have added accelerometer to x1 (it's only my thoughts)

on the left side under the usb there is the screen orientation button which rotates the screen
and now the now official image at se middle east site

this button has no presence at all may be they removed it because they added accelerometer

X1 will have everything a phone can have except Apple logo on it... LOL...

ND, 22 Sep 2008I think X1 is copy the Nokia N810 internet tablet of its to... moreNokia makes nice phones but no offense but X1 have never imitate a nokia phone whether if it is touchscreen or not. First and for most, the designs of X1 is an arc slider and in my taste it looks a lot hotter than other nokia phones(though I like some designs of nokia). Also, X1 is running in windows mobile and in my opinion it will do a lot more in the business section than symbian.
Also, no offense again but I've never read that a touchscreen phone made by nokia have been a nice one and if I were to make a phone, I would have imitate other brands like HTC or Samsung rather than touchscreen phones from nokia.

I think that Sony-Ericsson had delayed the release a lot, and when they do it the phone will be obsolete.

Does anybody think that the battery life is gona be decreased?(!i hope not!)
And another question-->Is it possible to download Keyboard layouts of different languages in to the QWERTY keyboard?Or are they included in the Windows Mobile?(so that we can change the layout in control panel?)

The looks is extra ordinary...seems good to me. But have a doubt about the camera performance.

A lot of my vids sadly from past are in 176 x 144 or qcif res but what would they look like on xperia,would they blow up to screen size or just stay qcif with all the rest of screen black like on palm treo?
