The Sony Uk online store says Oct 08 .. a few months back it said Jan 09 .. and if u go to vodafone.co.uk its coming soon and they normally say this when their phones are coming in a months time so just 30 days to go n we will get to knw.

The hype around it is starting to fizzle out, and some people aren't prepared to wait another few months for something that doesn't have a release date!

Wow all you guys complaining about the release date must be really stupid.SE said the Xperia X1 would be available in the 4th quarter of 2008-this isn't something new afterall this was declared as far back as January 2008.SE are releasing the X1 bang on target.Come to think of it maybe you people are just bored kids with absolutely no intention of buying a professional handset.

please wait abit more.... its not sony's fault for not releasing xperia yet.... since sony and htc are teaming up for this one, htc specifically requested sony to hold back on the release date so htc can release diamond and touch pro. and a recent magazine reveals that x1 should be out either mid october or early november in asia.
