Probably the fans may get the prototypes for low price if it will never be released. Sadly, WM and Qualcomm can’t boost the phone industry; WM is too complex for businessmen and Qualcomm too slow for gamers.

What has market share got to do with this particular unit?!Nokia are a great manufacturer,they build many good devices and I say good on them but the xperia x1 offers more than any current nokia phone.If you can't see this then your ignorant or blinded by brand loyalty.I long for the day when the boys in here grow up!!!

Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson on Friday posted a 97 percent drop in second-quarter earning and said it would slash 2,000 jobs worlwide in a move to cut costs.
Sony Ericsson's fortunes are apparently much more bleak than Nokia's.

Xperia uses 528mhz qualcomm chipset with dedicated graphic and audio chips.
It also has 256mb RAM.
These facts alone make Xperia as 1 of the most advanced phones in the world.
Add to it a WVGA screen which again is rarely seen these days and QWERTY keyboard with arc sliding mechanism.
This phone is 1 of the master pieces of today's technology.
65K(16 bit) is the problem of WM and not SE

So there you have it folks - the moment you’ve all been waiting for will come in the middle of September when the Xperia hits stores!

You shouldn't compare Xperia x1 with nokia touch or any other nokia.Windows Mobile lies at the heart of the x1,wm gives you very powerful system with professional applications such as autocad.Symbian's os is weak and strange hence developers struggle to make decent apps.S60 apps have no depth...most of them are just a complete waste of time.

the 65k colours, the 3.2Megapixel camera and the processor.What RDS? - As the P1i? This is not good.
