I am using xperia of about 1 year now and its the best windows mobile I could every find. It's compatible with almost every application however theres an application called Kinoma Freeplay. You can find it here http://www.freemobiapps.com/category/windows-mobile I tried it. The video is not working on my phone. Has anyone tried it on xperia?

I am facing problem while sending SMS messages whereas i can receive them perfectly. There is no problem with my service centre (i am using Ufone prepaid) it sends SMS when i insert my SIM in any other cell phone. I can also send MMS but not the SMS, with my Xperia :(
Kindly help me out.

The screen is big & clear but is VERY difficult to see in the sun. The Touch screen works well and I am very happy with it. No problems there.

I love this phone but am having problems with the signal. It seems to disappear and then freezes. I then have to switch the phone off and back on to find signal again. It has already been sent in for a software upgrade. My calls also get dropped regularly. Is this a phone problem or a service provider issue? South Africa

I have had this phone for 2 years now and I have had no problems with it at all overall its a beautiful phone only complaints are the camera and lack of applications and memory. I was also wondering if anyone could help me on how to install blackberry messenger on my xperia and to those who are thinking this is is not good think again the x10 will be my next phone, go android and snapdragon.

I've been using this phone since december 2008.
After one year, the microphone didn't work anymore. It was unrepairable, so Vodafone hooked me up with a new one!
It's a really userfriendly phone. The information on this page about the standby-time is not correct. If you use the internet as regular as I do, you need to recharge the phone after approximately 2 days. If you also use the MP3-player for a few hours, you have to recharge after 1 day.
I would really love to see WinMo 6.5 on this phone. Some applications do not work on this version of WinMo.
Other than this, it's a great phone!

can you install .exe .swf files onto it? i can install .cab files fine but other files never seem to work

This is an amazing phone, functions quite well! It was a toss up as to whether or not I was going to get the X1 or the SATIO.. turns out the X1 was cheaper =] ...Now my problem is I've only had this phone since December last year and am quite disappointed with the keyboard, I was just curious if anyone else has had problems with this also? The keys don't work at times and other times they stick. Other than that there are no problems what so ever. I have updated the software (I presume its a hardware problem) I am out of options and am going to send it back to the supplier under warranty unless anyone knows a cure for the keyboard malfunction, thanks in advance!

This is a fantastic piece of kit,had a samsung i8910 before but this is in a different legue,its made HTC in tiawan for SE,it might be getting on a bit but its still up there with the best of them,still better than the x2.im currently running an energy leo custom rom with windows 6.5 21892 with HTC sence 2.5 from xda devolopers,its awsome,even got equalizers and boosted the vol through the advaced config,its now loader than what the i8910 was,this phone has deffinently had its snickers,its flippin nuts

great phone with good price. The resolution was great. The problem is when I instaled many aplication the x1 can't run it. Slick, SPB 3, Seven, Resco photo & 4 game with 15 mb capacity. I run slick and make my phone out of memory (in this position i just run spb3). Sory for bad english....

I Use This Phone.
Overall is good.
the only one problem for me now is the keyboard durability.
My Keyboard in the "M" button now hardly to push.
