Dani, 16 Jul 2008Nokia has run out of ideas becasuse of the N95.. whats n... morehow is that copying?

are nokia not allowed hard drives in their phones???

are nokia not allowed xenon flashes in their phones??

technically SE copy nokia because nokias came first AND SE COPIED BECAUSE THEY PUT BATTERIES IN THEIR PHONES.

and also nokia are not scared of se. se are 5th in sales. they only have samsung following them and they arent really causing a stir.

lets face it, the i850 and the g810 are the only phones up with the nokia Nseries. what have SE got? the xperia which will never come out, the c905 with qvga video and java, or the k850 with the worlds worst 5mp camera.

      yeah.

Surely this is a pretty feature rich device to start with, but why not. Apart from that HTC are helping SE with this phone and even provide their TouchFlo interface for the X1. The really interesting thing to see will be if SEs home screen substitut (panels) will be fast enough without eating up too much RAM.

The n95 had the sirf star 2 chip in it whereas the 3 version is better but more expensive so they have to cut costs like apple gone plastic now.

HTC has many years experience in Windows Mobile before release Diamond.
Samsung has many years experience in Windows Mobile before release Omnia.
Sony Ericsson never experience in Windows Mobile before release Xperia.

I think how smart SE is, they can't make a miracle in Xperia. Sorry, I can't hope to much for Xperia.

the n95 may be a brick but it's a very clever brick that kinda revolutionarised mobile phones.

it got other phone companies off their back sides.

well clearly not SE> they still produce featureless phones

Don't rush SE, take your time to get this phone right (don't be like NOKIA with that original brick N95).

The X1 definitely has all the bases covered with it having hardware keys, optical joystick, touchscreen and a hard qwerty keyboard.

                                  Perfect Xmas present to myself!!!!!

Just a thought....I cant see anywhere on White Paper, that this "very priced" unit have a "BUILT IN GPS RECEIVER"...So, my guess is that this unit is only a "A-GPS" unit. Maybe, they lost it, together with the 1700 band radio. And if I am right, my guess is that they can "STICK IT" !!. In the end it will be just a very expensive toy, witch will be outdated any way, by HTC. I am tired of waiting anyway and I think off Touch Pro, or Bold 9000. Is a very good chance that they will worth better the price.

Each corner/side has a disguised multi-color LED that shows the status of the phones various features. Most windows phones have a status light at the front/top, but the Xperia is nice because you can catch it from almost any angle.
