from now on please stop spaming here you nobbs, that don't even know what qwerty is. If you a nokia fan at least compare E90 with X1. N82 is a normal phone, while E90 and X1 are little laptops!!! You probably use your phone just for calling? Well i am typing this post from E90, and use it as a laptop, and will change to X1 when it comes out...

    why do you guys even think the nokia e90 is up to par with the SE X1?

    the e90 doesn't even have the same res screen, no accelerometer(therefore no autorotate), no sex1 'panels', smaller RAM, a weaker OS, and an even weaker CPU.

    the only thing thats BIGGER in the e90 is its size and its weight. its a BIGGER, HEAVIER device.

        @Kim

        hey bro..you are wrong if you angry with me, i never compare x1 with nokia phone,i just answered their comment that they said nokia N82 is better than X1 in X1 FORUM SITE! so i tried to prove whether they are wrong or not by comparing the phones together. Suddenly, you push me then try compare X1 with E90 haha, realize it that whatever we said, we are not wrong because it's X1 forum so why does nokia fanboys always come here ? They just ruin this X1 forum, You Nokia fanboy do like an uneducated person and soooo childish never realize their shelves mistakes. E90 only has QWERTY and higher resolution screen(800 X 350+)than N82/95/96.So X1 is still superior or better than E90, if you don't believe me, check full official X1 spec and E90 then compare them by your self!!!

            The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is one of the most exciting Windows Mobile phones since the Blackjack 2 and the (phantom) i-mate 9502. With a 800x480 pixel display, it is probably going to be the new reference in terms of productivity and entertainment. Users can control it the way they want: Touch screen, joystick or via the elegant Arc slider QWERTY keyboard. Finally, it has WiFi, 3.5G and assisted-GPS – features that will make a big difference, given that web browsing and location based are popular apps these days.
            Highlights

            * 3” touch display 800x480 pixels
            * QWERTY keyboard
            * GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 + HSDPA (3G)
            * WiFi, Bluetooth
            * Windows Mobile
            * Touch screen
            * 3.2 megapixel camera with Auto-focus
            * Joystick navigation

            * 110 x 53 x 16.7 mm, 145g

            It's here, the XPERIA X1 QWERTY from Sony Ericsson. Yes, full QWERTY to make the most of that Windows Mobile 6 operating system. SE's new XPERIA brand will focus on multimedia and mobile web communication. The X1 then, brings a 3-inch wide VGA (800 x 480) touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera (with photo light), A2DP Bluetooth, aGPS, WiFi, and microSD -- just 400MB on board. On the phone side you've got quad-band GSM/EDGE, and 900/1700/1900/2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (or 850/1700/1900/2100MHz in what must be a US-bound model). Navigation is accomplished via touch, arc-sliding QWERTY, 4-way key and optical joystick. Now just replace that Internet Explorer Mobile browser with Opera Mobile 9.5 or Skyfire and the 110 x 53 x 16.7-mm X1 is ready to live up to its potential. You know, when it ships in "select markets" in the second half of 2008. Full specs posted after the break.

              Sony-Ericsson opened the Mobile World Congress today by unveiling the XPERIA X1, its first true touchscreen-focused cellphone. Following a deal with Microsoft, the handset is Sony-Ericsson's first device to use Windows Mobile for its OS but also uses a custom interface of "XPERIA panels" rather than the default Microsoft front-end: users simply tap panels with their fingers to access calling, media, and other functions, according to the phone designer. Though dominated by its 3-inch, 800x480 touchscreen, the device also includes both optical and physical navigation pads at the bottom as well as a unique arc-slider QWERTY keyboard that tilts outward for more comfortable typing.The X1 is also the most Internet-connected Sony-Ericsson device in history, the company boasts: unlike even most advanced 3G phones, it offers HSUPA (High Speed Upload Packet Access) that sends video and other media almost as quickly as it comes downstream. Wi-Fi is onboard for short-range networking and is backed by assisted GPS for route finding. A 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and a microSD slot (versus Sony-Ericsson's favorite Memory Stick Micro format) round out its key features.The first XPERIA phone is expected sometime in the second half of 2008; with quad-band GSM and an unprecedented five-band HSPA/UMTS connection, the device should be available both in North America as well as Europe and includes the key 1,700MHz band needed for T-Mobile USA's upcoming 3G service.

                Try this..
                First up is the X1's engine bay...... Powered by a Qualcomm 7201A 528mhz processor, with 512mb of ROM memory onboard (380mb available for storage) and 128mb of RAM, the X1 is more than adequately powered for serious application, internet and multi-tasking performance. With such a large ROM the X1 will be able to store "on device" all of your most frequently used and important applications freeing up your Micro SD card for Media such as photographs, video, songs and documents.....

                Providing the suspension for the X1's engine is the Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 operating system. A very big deal considering Sony Ericsson was one of the original companies that supported and provided development of the Symbian operating system. Haha... finally realizing that it could never provide a truely serious device with such a lame ass operating system, Sony Ericsson did it right by enlisting the help of HTC in developing the companies first Windows Mobile Device. Very Smart Sony Ericsson!!

                First up is the phone hardware and performance of the Sony Ericsson X1. The X1 is a GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) voice and WCDMA (Wide Band Code Division Multiple Access) 3G high speed data, enabled device.

                A thoughtful software feature in the phone settings is the automatic SMS message for times when you reject a call. It lets the caller know that you recognize the call, but, your too busy right now to talk or you can customize the message to suit your needs...

                      Sorry but the N95 is better than the X1. Sure the X1 has a touch screen and a big one too but the specs aren't on par with the N95. Though the keyboard is nice

                        It's a Qualcomm CPU but if you bothered to check the clock speed you would see it's quite a bit faster than the cpu used in tytn II.It's multimedia capabilities are far better than tytn II.Portability,WVGA screen,multimedia,enhanced data speeds all add up to making this device far better than tytn II

When you talk about w960 you must be very careful coz w960 is the best phone ever been released and nokia n81 8gb and n95 8gb is just an antic copy that will never achieve the succes of w960. I said w960 is the best phone that have ever been released coz when x1 is gonna be released than it be the best phone for about 5 years. yohuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu SE just like man utd. always the winner

                                  this phone rules. SE's are built to last (not talking about the charging connectors, they are rubbish)

                                  this phone is going to be able to take a massive 32GB mini card; now that's storage space.

                                  also this phone will have the new windows mobile 6.1, a very good privilege to SE as this will be the first phone to have 6.1 on it.

                                  this phone is sure to destroy the iphone hype!!! once and for all

                                  SE are the best!!! rely on them!!!

                                        why dont nokia fans understand that SE dont want to creat a phone with 7 MP camera, 16 GB space, touchscreen and walkman 3.0 and much more but they want that other SE phones to be sold more coz everyone wants to win something so thay cant produce a phone than the other phones just to fail and nobody will buy them.
