You are the joke, we have so many whiners on this site complaining about this or that. People, you do not have to buy this phone. If you don’t like it then go somewhere else. By the way, there is a camera on the front, and they working on the software just like everybody else does, but announced the phone early to get other developers a chance to work on applications for the new panels. I don’t want a 5mp camera. Takes to much battery and I will never make larger than 8 x 10 print anyway. I am just getting sick of all of these people. Why don’t you guys go over to blackberry and complain about there corporate e-mail features.

Ugly?You probably just say what you do to get a reaction however show me a device with a qwerty keyboard that is more pleasing on the eye.Xperia X1 ROCKS

This phone will be released just before christmas 2008. SE are having problems with the 'panels'. What a joke :-) And why is the thing so ugly? Can you see the front camera for video calls? And why such a mediocre 'main' camera? I want at least a 5mp !

E90 uses Symbian s60 OS,fine for n95 and such like but for a cummunicator type device no thanks.May 6th will see HTC announce an Android OS unit, perhaps it will challenge this mighty creature as nothing from Nokia can

TO owner of E90
Before i reply u,i'm an owner of E90 too pal.and about my X1,if you have opened your eyes and understood my words then you must have SEEN that i'm NOT paying more than 1200$ for it.i paied this amount of money for the E90 BUT i'm NOT paying more for the X1 which has the same features as the E90 which offers more.
Let me point a small better thing the E90 has,its keybored.yes my friend,E90 has a wonderful keybored with useful keys like those on the upper part like,Desk,contacts,...and the my own 2 keys.lots of cool stuff.
i'm getting the X1 BUT keeping my E90 at the same time,you know why?cause i like the whole idea of the X1 and love to try it.i'm a fan of any company but i look for the best and love to try new cool phones.
And trust me my friend,X1 will be out mid of MAY or JUNE.

If you look back through the pages you will see 100's of ridiculous anti WM and SE 'views' They range from Xperia X1 not being shipped until 2009 to the Xperia X1 having a below standard display!!!!Xperia X1 has one the finest screens ever seen on a mobile phone and will surely hit the mobile world LONG before 2009.

My dear friend,if you live in UAE please go to SE agents or dealers and here it by ur self.if you're from somewhere else then kindly go to the main site of SE click on the middle easte and take the phone # of the trustable sellers and give them a call.2 ways to make sure,you pick what ever you like.
What everybody doesnt get is that the X1 is READY,and will hit markets by JUNE,i'm sure of it.at the shop i was about to buy a SE phone and they asked me,do you want the X1?i myself didnt trust what they said untill they called main center replying its priced and we wont pay to bring it so early because of its price,also he mentioned they are talking to the main companiy about this issue hoping to get it lower.
then they told me they can order it for me but i'll pay more money,which i didnt like.however the guy told me by the mid of may they would have it but they will get few units at first to sell and the 2nd order they will make would be better (many)honestly he told me,i dont expect lots of people to buy it at such price.how much for it?he him self said i dont know but we will inform you incase you want to order 1.over all its more than 1200$ at these days or so he tried to emply.

we dont even know the launch date of this phone. I pity the SE loyalists shouting for this phone without even having seen it.

can u please stop posting ur nokia phones in SE categories.. go to nokia and post there for ur superstar symbian phones that hangs up every 5 minutes.I work in a mobile shop and no one will have nokia because they have symbian.SE will make a big deal with this phone and i think they will catch it.in order of nokia,i had these 3 phones and i sell them because:
N95 - low battery,charging every day
N73 - the camera cover cames off
E90 - slow slow interface
now I changed to SE and I can say they are much way better!!!

I work for SE and tested a prototype of this phone. This phone has a very slow user interface. This phone will not be released until Q3 2008.

This phone will be very old if it's release date is about christmas time. Probabaly nokia or another company will release something way better till then. :(

As posted by KIM below, I don't think this unit will be available in UAE in 2 weeks time. Not even this site has announced the availability of XPERIA which I think more credible to release such statement. For my own opinion, the earliest to become available is no later than Sep or Oct this year but not December.
