Now reortedly not coming till 2009 now . Nice specs for now but 2009 .. this phone is history already .

i think n hope the news about the delay which comes from the sony ericsson site model launch is a typo.2/10/2009 is just way off,since this phone was announced to be coming this year,besides..announcing a phone that will take more than one year to be released is just stupid.im sure they mean to be 2/10/2008

0h well.... its n0thing 'new' th0. l0tsa makers d0 that. take the imate 'ultimate' f0r example. that thing g0t pushed back s0 many times it might as well have never been made!!!

well, SE now start thinking shifting to PDA. Once I've used Nokia N95, then SE k850i. Now I'm using HTC Tytn II PDA. If you read all the spec in HTC Tytn II then you should relised why SE make this Xperia X1. It's all about getting latest technologies all in one gadget. The problem is, it's too late to catch up what have been done in Dopod or HTC. They are few step ahead. Windows mobile in good because we can use 3'rd party software for entertainment and security. Anyway.. It's good improvement. Hope the price will be cheaper because HTC or Dopod is already 1 year ahead. So during the launch of this Xperia X1, you can buy others product from them with the same spec or capability with only half of this xperia X1 price.

They use window mobile cuz this is the most common one and there is way more app u can download than symbian

That's not good. Why go so far as to produce a phone that will take a year, when the height of the competition is happening NOW. Is this another marketing strategy to us consumers like what Apple does? eg. Apple urges you to buy a new iPod then after 6 months a new, improved iPod comes out in the market. I think this applies to the same case.
