i am talking to every body about my experience
X1 is a very good phone very nice very use full
it has every thing that u want
about the Battery, The WIFI KILL THE BATTERY VERY FAST
The sound is littel bit low BUT U CAN install a plugin to make it better (X1 Opt Xperia)
the phone is pretty fast
If any body want to buy it, DO IT.
you will love this phone

The battery does not l... moreAt bottom of screen whilst in text mode and in every text input screen there is a symbol like a mini keyboard dead center,,press the arrow to right of this symbol and up pops a selection of inputs..The one you want is Phone Keypad..

this phone is shit, the battery when full goes down within 24 hrs and when you are using it will take less than 6hrs... can sony ericsson do better

No use to buy such a costly mobile set...
Its better to buy a Laptop or be without a mobile...

Been using the phone for 1 week now. The battery does not last long if you use the WIFI. Still trying to get used to the phone after using the P990i. Typing sms using the keyboard is not very efficient since you either have to use the stick or slide the keyboard. It would be nice if the phone keypad can be used to type sms like conventional phones. Wonder if its possible in the X1? Generally I like the phone very much and amazed at the new applications.

Its been january since i sold my xperia...My question is did any updates ever activate an equaliser in the media centre of s/e own player..Anyway if x2 is due i cant wait to see whats what ..
To post below,,why bother updating your x1 to 6.5 ,,go on treat yourself to a new xperia2 you only live once...only joking ??

the country where I live is selling the Xperia, but it's as expensive as hell here (upwards of $1,000.00, BEFORE ADDING TAXES TO THE PRICE!!!), AND, it's in Spanish, so, HELL NO, I'm not buying it here [in the country where I live]!!!

in regards to the questions on the cracks.
My partner had cracks appear on her X1.
we called Sony Ericsson and they are booking a courier to her address and repairing the case under warranty as well. Not to mention the dedicated Austrlasian X1 tech support line, which services only Xperia models
