I have no clue mate..i got the message in PCCompanion that new updates available and you know next few steps what we did for 1.6 to 2.1 the same steps and it happened.. the only information i can give is that i got the update on saturday night at 2200 hrs(IST)..

Dude u cl me a bluff ok ur wish..i hv iy n dats da reason i cud write such a detailed review...stop actin like the fox n grapes story..u r going to get it too.publicly talking ill about someone doesnt sound Indian. Atleast verify stuff before you comment.. In addition to prove you wrong other observations about 2.3.3 on x10:
Alrdy mentioned about 3 direction screen orientation
A special key on defaut keyboard to go to next field sumthin like tab key
No chinese korean keyboards only japnese n default keyboards
New widget for news n weather
Like button in music player on pressing dat button, the song is shared on fb profile..
N if u wnt further proof send me a friend request on fb n see my wall u will see the facts...dude talk with dignity and sense!!!

I updated to 2.3.3 last night by SE Update Service software. Now my old monster is awesome again. Theme is like Arc, cool animations and effects, better performance, better display (It seems 16 million colors!), better battery life, better touch, and yessssss it has multi-touch in browser, gallery and maps.

AnonD-15608, 02 Aug 2011Hi all..Kindly suggest me a phone with good music and camer... moreDon't worry about deeps ranting lol what a drama queen, go for the xperia arc or the galaxy s2.the arc will have a better camera and music player, but the galaxy 2 has a better processor stop its faster.build quality on the sony is way better though.and btw se gives decent service levels on their devices, he is just being a prick for expecting them to replace his phone because he lives in dust! I have never seen a sony with study under the screen only older nokias and some blackberries have dust issues.

I am from India and I have got 2.3.3 its almost 4 days now...and yea camera all is slightly not upto the mark (jst night issues rest cam is great) but over all experience is good..and yea battery life does improve. Inside xperia is a feature u all must explore as soom as u get 2.3.3
Sony's hardware for x10 is good.coz it strtd wid 1.6 and ended with 2.3 these migrations suggest visionary hardware standards..i dont think any phone which had 1.6 as 1st OS got 2.3.3 officially.

don't have megabass in v2.3.3, i like sound quality of V2.1 more than 2.3.3, v2.1 bass greater than..... :-( :-( :-(

I am using the same with 2.3. I am surprized to see the speed and surfing. Awesome experience. postponed my decision to change the handset.
