AnonD-1094, 03 Aug 2011hey buddy can u pls tell me how u updated it bcause pc com... moreHi friends have upgraded my x10 to android 2.3.3 last 2nd august it is really super than 2.1 nothing to worry about the upgrade to 2.3.3 it is working nice for me it has imporvved in all aspects in gaming,internet browsing,power management,apps can be moves to sd card after the upgrade so you can install lots of apps on it the bechmarck result will be rised to very high than ever the wi-fi speed is increased battery stands by by gaming browsing through wi-fi and lots of music it stands for one and half a day. The upgrading seps are as follows.
1 st you go to phone update on the phone press update on the phone untill it says for furthure update please connect to pc and in the application in development tick the usb debugging and stay awake.
2 nd is to download the latest pc companion from the website sonyericsson.com/update and click the x10 it says what else happens after the update in last end pc conpanion will be there click download it and install it on the pc.
3 rd connect your phone to pc using data cable wait untill pc suit regonise your phone and the update creen will appear on the computer.
4 th click the update botton the update starts by downloading the software and preparing the computer after downloaded in the status bar usb should be switched off now unplug the phone from the computer.
5 th switch of the phone after switch off the cell phone by pressing the back key insert the data cable in the sensor light the green light blows make sure that the battery is atleast 60% for upgrading the phone and select next you phone starts upgrading upgrading speed depends on the net speed and the computer you use after upgrading the cell phone.
6 th dissconect the cell phone from the data cable press the power button untill a vibration comes from the pone wait for 3 minutes the takes times to load after the update had finished. now you have the new android 2.3.3 version enjoy using it.

updated to gingerbread official.....(india {chennai}).......processing speed improved a ton......cool equilizer.....nice fb integeration.....moving apps to sd card its a + point........ power control widget in the screen wich we drag from the top is missing......if they r releasing nxt version tey must concentrate on the flash lite for camera.....16m colours and bravia engine.........

I'm using X10 now and had just upgraded to 2.3 gingerbread. The only problem is on the camera function. Ang bagal ng response ng camera.
That's the only problem. The phone is cool.. =)

now iam sure that these idiots r real fools ,they live in their own world with their poor x10 ,i think they have dust in their brain but my x10 has dust under screen ,and so iam gonna get rid of this unit ,a horrible unit yes for sure,and guys beware of these idiots, buy x10 and u suffer ,its just my experience ,decide for urself good luck

I just upgraded to gingerbread, I am in Riyadh, KSA, its just awesom, great speed, with 2.1 mediascape was a disaster, SE did a great thing by removing the crap out of 2.3. A must upgrade. GOOD JOB SE.

SE 2.3.3 is not a real upgrade, as usual they have given just a taste of gingerbread and in fact introduced artificial problems
1. Any music player lags badly (SE support center claims it is a known problem and phone cant handle music with low memory whereas in 2.1 it never happened)
2. Wifi connection goes into limited mode sometimes
3. Camera interface is only landscape, cant believe it, SE is it so difficult to make the interface portrait?? (I think as a dev it is intentional to force customers bye their next phone)
Bye bye SE, never an SE fan again (you once fooled me with M600i phone saying there is an upgrade and never learned to downgrade, this time I am downgrading to 2.1 with my x10, thanks to xda devs)

I need FM Radio. Is it possible to get radio by install any software ? Sound is so poor, why ? Camera quality also so poor but why ?

Arsal bhai I don't think that you could do so but you should try basics like change your countray as uk in windows and in SE wbsite than download a new pc companion from SE website. it look like childish but try does'nt pay you. Or wait for update until it comes to Pak.

hi all
i have been using this phone for about a month a great phone to tell
but i have a problem when i download a game loft game it works but when i start the game all i got is the buttons and a dark screen :-s
so please some one help me
by the way the android 2.3.3 is working great just had the update but still have the same problem :-(
