Mobilemaster, 28 Nov 2009Lol, :)) what do you know man? What??? An OS on a phone is ... moremilestone and x10 use the same OS. true x10 has a ui but that ui is pointless. it just makes the x10 look slower than it rly is and it still doesnt hv multi touch. y didnt SE add it? dont say that u need android 2 to hv multitouch cos htc hero running android 1.5 had multitouch. SE needs a more powerful cpu cos of the ui they decided to add. also its not the 1st android phone to use snapdragon.
y 65k colors? if SE hv been developing this phone b4 the release of android 2, then they shud hv released it much sooner. but wait, when ppl rush SE to release things on time (which is actually late for most) SE just end up screwing the software as seen by aino, satio. also it has worse screen display quality than x1 since x1 had same amount of colors but more dpi/ppi, and gsm arena acknowledges that on a screen this size, the 65k color limitation is noticeable (see htc hd2 review). and if u wna compare it to moto milestone, moto has more dpi/ppi than x10 and more colors, so it has the better display.
if a camera is important 4 u on a phone buy the satio, oh w8, nvm buy the pixon 12.
if data speeds r important moto milestone is better: same hsdpa but almost 3x faster hsupa.
and according to some sources (wikipedia included, but u can check google as well): moto droid sold about 250 000 in US in 1st week not 100 000 as some ppl r saying. i wud like to c SE exceed that with their overpriced and late to release x10.
i will say that x10 has its advantages too but u shud stop saying that SE makes the best devices cos what they r rly doing is anouncing a phone with gr8 specs ages b4 they can release it and then u r comparing it to companies who hv already released phones. im not an SE h8er but i h8 SE fanboys (or any fanboy for that matter). the last SE device i had was a p910i and no complaints on that. it was 1 of the best around at the time. but since then SE hv slowed down the release of their phones and compared to the competition, they no longer hv an advantage.

this will come with a very high price tag i think, which most people wont buy, i hope se should price this at a reasonable range not over priced which they always intend to do (maybe to recover market share which they obviously lacks)

What`s important is that this phone will support every possible 3G frequency making it perfect to use internet around the globe. There is only one other phone that suit my needs in this department, that`s Nokia N900 since I`m with T-mobile and I care about 1700Mgz to be supported.
But I also want a capacitive screen so Nokia is off the wagon. Can`t wait `till this one is out. Although let`s see if tethering is supported to be able to power my laptop with a 3G service anywhere I go.

*Will it have multi-touch in future updates?
Xperia X10 has a capacitive screen. It does not support multi-touch functionality at launch, but is considered for the future.
*Will the X10 receive Android 2.0 update (for those who bought from the initial batches with Android 1.6) ?
The UX platform used for Xperia X10 will evolve to Android 2.0 over time.
*Which one is better, X10 or Droid regarding to multitouch finger input?
Nokia 5100

A liquid crystal display is the most common display type among mobile phones because of its low power consumption and good image quality. They are generally easy to read, even under direct sunlight.
The smallest element of an image displayed on a LCD is the pixel. Each pixel normally consists of a layer of molecules aligned between two transparent electrodes, and two polarizing filters.
Some of the types of LCD displays are STN, TFT and TFD. The first one, STN, offers low cost and low power consumption, but low image quality. TFT features greater image quality and response time, yet its displays are more expensive and need more power.
Three other types of LCDs are transmissive, reflective, or transflective. Transmissive displays offer nicer image quality in low or medium ambient light, while reflective ones work best in bright ambient light. Transflective displays combine the best of both.
