I wish Sony Ericsson would produce this phone as having HSDPA 850 too. After all, that's the frequency range Ericsson provides for 3G in USA as well as most markets in other countries.

dear x10 group , mobilemaster , se rockz ,,, i can see that you are sitting in front of the computers and dreaming ,,, all your writings are based on totoal illusions and not realistic information and this is to do sony ericsson future phones ,,, what kind of a company sony ericsson should be if its going to promote its company secrets to the public !!!
we are repeating the same thing all the time and at the end we all get disappointed ...
we all want to have the best from sony ericsson , and as you can see the company have already started to do so but let us not be fooled with our illusions and dreams .
as for the mobilemaster , you said se will announce better phones with 15Mp ,, please more Megapixels does not mean better phones , in fact more megapixels will be the graveyard of the camera phones in sony ericsson ,,, first of all you cant squeese 15 megapixels in a very small sensor , technicaly is not possible and its not needed as weell , realistically 8 megapixels with high quality lens and a good sensitive sensor will make the best cameras for the mobile phones,,,so more megapixels will not make it a better camera ,, and more megapixles will be only a marketing gimic that companies will play with ..
and as for next year dont expect a huge line up of sony ericsson phones , as i said and count on that sony ericsson will produce maximum 10 phones only for their 2010 portofolio and dont expect miracles in 2010 february , since still sony ericsson is getting restructured by its new leader ,, 2010 will be only a year of transformation for sony ericsson and we might see the results in 2011.
just keep the correct faith in sony ericsson

what the hells wrong with you? what other features are you expecting? ITS GOT EVERYTHING. the only thing wrong with the display is that its 65k but that doesnt matter because we cant even see that many colours!!!

Mobilemaster, 09 Nov 2009SE need to produce mid-end smartphones too, that's one of t... morebro i seriously hope SE does it coz it will flatten the other manufacturers....but i searched google and i did not find a 15mp phone from SE or any other manufacturer..... mayb u found a link to a concept phone...if that is the case than forget it...but like i said.....next year is all about 12 mp and 3x optical zooms....they need to atleast sell the latest and the greatest before turning them outdated by launching a 15mp......and yes the g series must b kept for the mid section....but SE shud consider the low end too....coz countries in the South east asian region, china and the african continent have HUGE numbers of potential customers who really really need low end cell phones....that is why nokia launches soooooo many cheap as** cellphones...but first i believe SE is trying to start making profits...only then will they return to the rest of the portfolio....and hey......the once high and mighty cellphones like the X1 and the C902 are considered mid level phones now....its getting cheaper day by day...taking all this into consideration...i have doubts about the G series.....but i guess they will keep it still to keep their portfolio diversified......

Mobilemaster, 09 Nov 2009The W980 was the Alona codenamed phone, here is the proof g... morei never said w980 or w960 is unannounced......i told u.....im a SE freak....i wud die b4 i use another brand....check out google....type in W980 alice together.....u will c that w980 was codenamed alice....cheers ;).......and hey havocz or whatever.... learn the facts and admit it.....SE 65K is much much much better than any 16M display out there....consider two existing models...X1 has 65k and N95 has 16M....who cares about 16m display when the human eye can only detect about 65000 colors....and if you want to talk the next time........think b4 u utter a single word....a displays resolution is all that defines it....16M just seems nice on the specsheet...nothing else......

SE rockz..:), 09 Nov 2009SE already have two 8 GB phones......W980 codenamed alice, ... moreBro, don't say the W980 is unannounced, that was announced at MWC 2008! SE has 2 8GB phones. The first was announced on 2007 June, the second on 2008 February. I even touched that phone, and it is cool. The Alice is cancelled, and the Paris and Beibei smartphones too. It is sad SE cancelled the P5 Paris. I really liked that phone. :)

Many people can't affordable an expensive smartphone, that is the cause they need to produce some mid-end phones too. It is normal we like the high-end phones, I like them too, but we have to think about mid-range smartphones too! About Toshiba, they are left behind, they have no phones with 8MP camera, they are weak at camera functions! They are good in smartphone domain, and I don't think they will jump with 5MP, to 14.6MP! This is NOT true. They first will announce 8MP camera phones, and later 14.6MP camera phones. Maybe all the news about their sensor is fake! They are NOT good in this, beleiev me. Sharp is the BEST in this, they CAN make a 14, 15MP CCD camera phone easily. Tomorrow Ntt Docomo will announce their newest lineup, visit engadgetmobile(dot)com to see those news if yo want. The X10 will be available in Japan too. :)
ABout Sony, they are much better in camera functions than Toshiba, that's why I believe SE will have a 15MP camera phone for next year. You will see it. Every year SE made a better, and better camera phone. In 2006 SE announced their first 3.2 MP camera phone. On 2007 they announced their 5MP camera phone. On 2008 they announced the 8MP camera phone for Europe. In 2009 they announced the world's first 12MP camera smartphone! SE is GOOD! :)
