and i think its a very good thing that SE planned to launch the X10 next year....and announcing the X10 a month before Christmas was a very gud move.....the new phones aino, satio, yari and the pureness will need all the buzz and hype around SE to help SE make a profit during the last quarter.....and the X10 is definitely getting SE loads of attention....the aino and the satio is also expensive...giving SE a gud porfolio for the holiday shopping spree.... and planning to launch X10 and kurara in Q1 of 2010 is also a gud idea so that SE can keep up the momentum...also launching these two wud push down the price of the existing new ones.......SE is seriously using some brains right now.....gr8....its high time they pulled themselves together....just keeping my fingers crossed so that the X10 and the kurara dont miss their launch dates.....and the update to 2.0 wud cum soon too to push the sales of X10 even higher......though i believe that cud be during march or april.....this is my belief and logic though.......im open for opinions...:)

Mobilemaster, 09 Nov 2009I really hope you are right, coz like I said I saw the info... moreand about the 15mp phone.....i really dont think so....as the 12mp phones did not even get one full year in the market...... there will be a 15 or rather 14.6 mp camera phone with the image sensor i believe being made by toshiba.....but i cud be wrong as Sony is really a self sufficient company....they dont need the toshiba CMOS sensor as they already have a full dedicated camera lineup......but if we ever get to c a 15 mp camera i believe it will b no less than 2011.... SE needs to earn money rather than keep spending on R&D for future phones.....

Mobilemaster, 09 Nov 2009I really hope you are right, coz like I said I saw the info... morefrom what i c.....the xperia line up is doing everything that the G series is supposed to do...but it does it better.....if the G series is not dropped then atleast they will always only concentrate on the web browsing capabilities and not much of anything else.....the xperia lineup is expensive.....hence the G shud live to keep affordable and memorable web browsing experience in the SE portfolio......but as of now....i have not heard of a new G series

Semcblog is firend with that site I saw. If Android will support multitouch, will be GOOD! On that SE site the editor wrote about the Droid. Poor Moto, they still can't get the CPU rules. :)) Only 550MHZ, the phone has to be very slow, Android requires a very fast CPU. SE done a GOOD job. ABout 12MP camera phones, we will see at last 2 12MP phones, you will see it. Or maybe I am a little bit wrong, coz SE will announce next year a 15MP camera phone. DOn't forget every year, every companies make better, and better camera phones. So maybe you are right and we will see only one 12MP phones, but we will see a 15MP camera phone! SE ROCKS! ABout 8MP, we will see 2,3 8MP camera phones. About the G series, can you tell me something?

nick, 09 Nov 2009in recent times, sony ericsson cameras have been very avera... moreu got the thing the other way round bro....SE have always made great cameras for their flagships.....its Samsung who caught up with SE!.......u cannot name one single SE cybershot camera phone that did not live upto its expectations

One is the image of the company right? Many peoples choose the N97(failure phone coz the CPU), because of its internal memory. The second thing is, you have a BIG storage for your videos, and if you can put even a 32GB Memory card, in total you will have 64GB. It is a good thing? I am sure it is! It is sad many people are dissapointed coz of the internal memory. Look at the W900. Was announced on 2005, and had 470 MB of internal memory. Now we are in 2009, and the X10 has 1GB. This is a problem, but I still LIKE SE. Their designs are the BEST(look at the W995), theit specs are good, the battery is AWESOME. They are very good in camera capabilities too! And don't forget the Walkman series. :)

One will be the sucsessor of ... morei still dont think that SE will make 3 12mp phones in the same year.......they will be competing with each other....two r just fine enuf as one dosent have an optical zoom...........but 3 is too much...if so then the next year we will be having at least 7 12mp phones competing with each other! 3 from SE, 2 from samsung with one of them having Optical zoom 3x, one from LG with an optical zoom and the other from nokia with an optical zoom.......all optical zooms being 3X....... damn....that is gonna be chaotic......no..i seriously think next year only one 12mp from SE

Mobilemaster, 09 Nov 2009I have to tell you something VERY important I read yestarda... morethat will not be the case....i dont c why android wont support Xvid as its just a f***ing codec we are talking about..not a whole script restructure......and it will support multitouch as droid supports multitouch on android 2.0........so why not SE X10.....intel will entre the mobile phone scene but with just the chips...OS is just not their line of business....intel will collaborate with nokia i believe....so dont worry..wherever u found it..screw that website....the android is the best OS or atleast the next best OS.....Xvid will come and so will the multitouch...patience...i think it was wise of SE not to launch the X10 with 2.0 android.........seeing that their UI is pretty complicated to make......so why make a phone with a faulty OS.....better make a phone with a redundant OS and then update it for free.....

The another one will be an Xperia phone, but the third will be what phone. This is the biggerst question right? The third 12MP camera phone could be an Aino susessor Entertainment Unlimited phone, or maybe we will see 2 Satios with 12MP camera. One Satio will have optical zoom for sure. SE know they are late, and that is the cause they will announce a really high-end camera smartphone next year, maybe at MWC!! ABout the G series, SE could make a sucsessor of the G900. I didn't read they discountinued the series! What do you think? They could announce a S60 G... smartphone.

I don't want to dissapoint you, but Android will NOT support multitouch very soon, I read this on a SE site(this si NOT a joke). Android can't support Xvid codecs, Android can't support some important things. Yes I know it is a new OS, but it is not very good now. I had to tell you this. This is the BEST SE phone with Android, this is a good thing, but Symbian is better than this OS. I read a few weeks ago, Intel will enter in mobile phoen OS'es. Maybe they will have much luck.

Mobilemaster, 09 Nov 2009I am sorry bro, but you said a wrong news about N-Gage, coz... morewell that makes sense......SE made a high-end device in its day for the T-mobile once (D750i)...... about the X9....not sure its gonna be fat coz SE knows better to make fat mobiles seeing that the trend is to go slimmer on the waste....what i think is the blackberry style full QWERTY without the slide mechanism.... and SE is not exactly making much profit is it.....i don't c them coming up with a projector in a phone as the projector wont be that gud giving the size constraints (by that i meant slim cellphones is the fad these days).....and who needs a projector if u have TV output....too much to bother......no need to waste so much on R&D for a projector phone.....besides..sit back and wait and c if the samsung projector crap sells well...if it does...go for it....saves money and time.......haha.....this is what i think whats goin on within the SE exec's head! and sorry bout the N-gage part.........my bad......read an outdated report..

Yes, you are right, we will see at last 3phones with 12MP camera, 2 of them will be smartphones(one will be probably a Satio follower, and one an Xperia phone). Now I am much happier, now I know SE will NOT dissapoint us. :) What do you think, next year we will see a 32GB internal memory phone or not?

SE to make a high-end smartphone for T-Mobile? I can't really believe this. About the 12MP smartphone with optical zoom, I believe this, and I know for sure SE will announce next year an optical zoom phone, I said this too not once or twice. :) That Blackberry design phone(X9) maybe it is real(that child said this), but if it is real, will be not very good(the design for sure, and the people will not buy it). I don't like the Blackberry like fat phones. The X10 like design phones are the KING! :)ABout Bravia, maybe we will see a Bravia phone here, like in Japan, this mean the phone will have a GREAT screen, and we can watch freely TV on the phone. About the second Satio what do yo know? I read it will have a projector. What do you think?

xperia lineup is gonna have the X10 and the rumored X9 runnin on android....SE is gonna launch even more androids....
a 4+ inch screen is a bit too much as a 4" screen is not gonna fit into some hands as it is.....heck X20 will need two hands to operate perfectly...
and 2 12mp phones is enuf for the time.... orelse too much competition with its own portfolio..... but yes.....SE is gonna burn everything (by that i meant its competitors) down next year! hopefully......they will concentrate more on the HD recording and video playback segment as the Kurara is already HD record capable....
