seems like sony has stopped thinking to cater the satisfied users. all complicated gadgests are coming but no news about any changes or upgrades in p1i... sony/gsmarena can u answer ????
seems like all this play gadgests are coming in the near future nothing to suit in a businessman or give in a personality look or a kind of snob appeal of possessing the sony unlike p1i

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2009damn god go to hell!! 65K display dude.......WTF is the matter wit u?........y r u so bloody stuck with the 65K display....u shudn't complain coz as far as i c it.....nokia provides 16M display to most of their mid-level and high-end phones coz thats the only thing they can brag about....... dude and the pity is...nokia with all the 16M colors can't beat even a single mobile from HTC and SE in terms of display clarity and brilliance..... for all i know.....the only difference i ever could tell between the n97 and the x1 display is that x1 is seriously beautiful in this department....... keep ur nokia displays to urself and not in this forum.. nokia is nothin but white paper trash and pointless bigger harddrive capacity......... they dont do shit bout the performance......

I would like to see such a phone, but I am sure SE will announce next year an optical zoom phone. Nokia, Samsung and even LG have phones with optical zoom, so SE could announce a high-end camera phone next year.

A screen will looked brilliant if it comes with:
-true rich colors
-higher resolution
-excellent contrast and brightness
-good graphic accelerator
Has your nokia given you all these conditions? If the answer is yes, then stick with your nokia, 'cos we prefered to see everything looks natural and brighter.

By the way, about x10... moredude, i get what are you trying to say, but i want to correctone of ur mistakes, colors not really conncected with the phone screen, the really why the x1 dispay is better tan n95 is the resolution dude, is a pity if u got 16m colors but u have tiny 320x240 resolution ...yeah go to hell :)
i would rather use bigger resolution cos it bright :)
and it capable to display colors better thn tiny screen res...
SO the answer is, Go Hi res Phone, its time to Go HD :)

16m is standard... morei can understand your problem..
your problem is you never see and touch a great 65k colors screen and better than 16m colors, you were just thinking "higher spec on a paper is better, isnt it? NO an actual experience!!
if you dont know anything about a phone or never read the phone spec and dont have any phones. iam sure you will never know which 16m colors phone or 65k colors is..For example, look at x1 65k colors screen is much..much better than N95 16m colors screen.
i and HTC users have no problem with 65k colors.
just look at x10 screen, the screen is good, sharp, bright and beautifull so why must i worry about it ?
look the x10 game, photo and video. they are great!!
i think although this x10 has 16m colors, iam sure you will still bash this phone coz you are SE haters basicly. you will try to find disanvantage of this phone hardly to bash this phone. i agree with a guy with SEDc ip' the problem is you and not the colors" all of you are frustated.

16m is standard... more5530 has 16 millions color on nhd screen, but it's not a today standard. Nowadays is for 800 x 480 (WVGA) with 16M color. Contrast and brightness do matter.
And btw 5530 is a downgrade model of 5800xm, so it's not deserved to be presented up here. We're talking about android phone in the whole aspects not just about screen's color.
Can you tell me the sum of the angles of a triangle?
