By the way, about x10 color.For me it is not problem, it is not only for me but HTC users. If you ever touch x1 or HTC phone with 65k color then you will say 'it is okay, no problemo!!wow!!great screen!!" X1 screen is much..much better than N95 or the other 16million phone whereas the x1 color number is much..much smaller than 16Million colors.
it means color is not everything, Sony screen quality is good. Many people just look a word of white paper but not in actual quality.For example N95 16m colors screen is bad.wake up!!
My friend didnt realize that my X1 color is just 65k colors, he though x1 had 16m colors. Maybe someone can give you an explanation that human eyes can detect or distinguish 16m colors in theority but if your friend doesnt know everything about phones, pls ask him ' which phone use 16m colors or 65k colors? OR x1 or n95 ? iam sure your friend doesnt know which 16m color phone is or he will choose X1.
look at x10 screen, it is sharp, bright and clear, isnt it ?
about TFT is good enough for indoor and outdoor but AMOLED is very great in indoor but not in outdoor, also AMOLED has limited life, the quality will be decresed slowly time by time because amoled is an organic light. Everything has strength and weakness, advantage and disanvantage.
OR do you want to have 16m colors screen but the screen is not sharp and bright like n95?
16m colors is useless for phone screen,, it is like 20MP camera image on phone screen, you cant see the pixel as much as 20MP on phone screen, phone screen has limitation.
about radio ? is there any android phone has radio feature right know ? SE know that then try to help you,do you want to hear radio? they make hi fi wireless fm radio headset for x10 android phone, this is an solution from SE but samsung galaxy and motorola milestone ??? you must thanks to SE and this X10 can be upgraded to android 2.0.

Sumit Malhotra, Global marketing manager for Xperia X10, has answered some questions about the device on the Sony Ericsson Product Blog.
Here’s what he had to say:
One of the benefits of using an open operating system is that we can tailor your phone to your specific needs. As an example, there is not a document editor preloaded, but there are and will be free and premium applications available in the application store.
Now to your questions. I haven’t been able to answer all of them at this point but have tried my best to get to as many as possible.
* Will it have multi-touch in future updates?
Xperia X10 has a capacitive screen. It does not support multi-touch functionality at launch, but is considered for the future.
* What’s a scratch-resistant screen?
Xperia X10 has mineral glass to prevent easy scratching and fingerprint coating.
* Is it based on OpenGL 1.1 or 2.0 for games and other stuff?
Xperia X10 supports Open GL 2.0.
* What is the size of the battery?
It is 1500mAh.
* How many colors does the screen support?
I noticed the confusion in the communction around this topic, but the correct number is 65,536.
* Will the X10 receive Android 2.0 update (for those who bought from the initial batches with Android 1.6) ?
The UX platform used for Xperia X10 will evolve to Android 2.0 over time.
* What would be the camera like?
We’ll try to post a tutorial video of the camera interface within short, but in short it’s quite similar to what’s seen in our earlier touch screen phones like Satio, X2, and Aino.
* When will this be available in the UK?
X10 will be available in selected markets during Q1 next year. We will get back with more details as to more exact timing and where.
So there you go, confirmation that an upgrade to Android 2.0 will come and that the device will support multi-touch when it does.

Sony Ericsson’s Gustaf Brusewitz and Rikard Skogberg were at the party and could walk back to the company with two awards – the Satio won the award for best camera phone of the year and the W995 won the award for best music phone of the year.

the real problem is not the x10 spec but you, you just dont like SE coz you are SE haters. Everyone knows that everyphone has advantage and disadvantage, no phone is perfect. Although SE makes a great phone you still bash the phone, dont you ? you will try to find the advantage of phone, yes this is you, SE haters...

I think their approach has changed and they are doing it old style: release a whole new product instead of applying minor upgrade/improvements to the current ones. While one cannot say this is a betrayal, but at least is unpleasant. They do not let X1 users to upgrade simply because X2 (that stupid camera aside) has nothing to offer except that minor OS difference. I know some people with X1 who feel awful because of that and are switching to HTC for their next upgrade. Somehow they have lost their trust in SE.

I really love this phone, but I also know the cries of X1 users, they have no chance to upgrade their devices to winmo 6.5. SE absolutely forgot or ignored X1 users. probably they will forgot the X10 users, couse they already began to say that they have no plans for android 2.0 (which is already released I guess). SE is really untrustworthy to me.

SE just wanted to show they have a great technology, and they have, this is a NEW technology, and after 10 years probably we will have only transparent screen phones, and if SE started this, they will be the BEST! I have some infos about SE Kurara, the phone will be available on the first quarter of 2010, this mean SE will announce another smartphone probably this year!!!
